Aventuras en SKY: el canto de la aurora [ESP-ENG]

Los Videojuegos han sido para una especie d refugio. A veces siento una sensación de soledad increíble, y un desánimo generalizado que poco me permite ver algunas cosas con claridad. Había abandonado Sky por mucho tiempo, interesado en mi reciente entusiasmo por Call Of Duty Mobile, el cual también ha servido como una distracción para tantos pensamientos. Parece curioso, pero cada vez que me veo envuelto en una situación nostálgica, mis deseos viajan hacia los niños de la luz, ese título hermoso y espiritual que de alguna forma u otra nos envuelve en su magia.

Cuando ingresé a Sky me topé con una grata sorpresa: la temporada de la aurora, un evento magnifico que combina la experiencia musical con la espiritual en un escenario dinámico. La magia relució con toques de esperanza bajo la voz de la cantante Aurora, en un viaje que conectó a cientos de jugadores. Esto es lo que diferencia a Sky de muchos juegos… se trata de un destello capaz de traspasar mandos, controles o Smartphones para llenarnos de sensaciones únicas.

Video games have been for a kind of refuge. Sometimes I feel an incredible feeling of loneliness, and a general discouragement that hardly allows me to see some things clearly. I had long since left Sky, interested in my recent enthusiasm for Call Of Duty Mobile, which has also served as a distraction to so many thoughts. It seems curious, but every time I find myself involved in a nostalgic situation, my desires travel towards the children of light, that beautiful and spiritual title that in some way or another envelops us in its magic.

When I entered Sky I was pleasantly surprised: the season of the dawn, a magnificent event that combines the musical experience with the spiritual in a dynamic setting. The magic shone with touches of hope under the voice of the singer Aurora, in a journey that connected hundreds of players. This is what differentiates Sky from many games... it is a flash capable of transferring controls, controllers or Smartphones to fill us with unique sensations.

Regresé a los portales bajo un atardecer. En los últimos días del año muchos han sido los videojuegos que tienen eventos especiales para las fechas decembrinas. Sky estrenó su temporada de la Aurora para engalanar a sus jugadores en un concierto de luz e imágenes en movimiento. Con escenarios cambiantes podemos sentir las letras de las canciones mientras disfrutamos de un espectáculo sin igual. Música y jugabilidad en un solo haber, con destellos únicos de fuegos artificiales.

El evento es gratuito, o al menos hasta donde sé. Al principio somos transportados por un espíritu gigante con alas de mariposa. Danzamos en el vacío de luces brillantes, allí donde convergen corrientes brillantes y partículas luminosas. Podemos cambiar el ángulo de la cámara mientras seguimos al hada con sus cantos angelicales. Todo es sumamente hermoso, relajante… un lugar donde únicamente persiste la armonía.

I returned to the portals under a sunset. In the last days of the year there have been many video games that have special events for the holidays. Sky launched its Aurora season to deck out its players in a concert of light and moving images. With changing scenarios we can feel the lyrics of the songs while we enjoy a show like no other. Music and gameplay rolled into one, with unique flashes of fireworks.

The event is free, or at least as far as I know. At first we are transported by a giant spirit with butterfly wings. We dance in the void of bright lights, where bright streams and luminous particles converge. We can change the angle of the camera while we follow the fairy with her angelic songs. Everything is extremely beautiful, relaxing... a place where only harmony persists.

Luego el escenario cambia: un coliseo bañado por la luz del amanecer, con una sonata tranquila y relajante. El cambio llega con la voz de Aurora, la cantante, que nos entona su lírica mientras los avatares se deslizan o vuelan libremente en el escenario del coliseo. Personalmente nunca había tenido una experiencia igual: rodeado en esa alegría que saca lágrimas… el despliegue de fuegos artificiales y un sinfín de colores en el cielo y la tierra es imponente.

Controlé mi avatar intentando enfocar el bello escenario en el que me encontraba. Sin embargo, por alguna razón mi personaje se sentía atraído por la voz del espíritu de la aurora, pues cada vez que alargaba los coros atraía cual imán a todo lo que estaba a su alrededor. Comprendí entonces que la experiencia musical iba màs allá de los acordes… es lo que un videojuego puede llegar a causar.

Then the setting changes: a coliseum bathed in the light of dawn, with a calm and relaxing sonata. The change comes with the voice of Aurora, the singer, who sings her lyrics for us while the avatars glide or fly freely on the stage of the coliseum. She personally had never had an experience like it: surrounded by that joy that brings tears... the display of fireworks and endless colors in the sky and on earth is impressive.

I controlled my avatar trying to focus on the beautiful scenery in which I was. However, for some reason my character was attracted to the voice of the spirit of the dawn, because every time she lengthened the chorus she attracted everything that was around her like a magnet. I understood then that the musical experience went beyond the chords... that's what a video game can cause.

Jugar Sky me ha ayudado a abrazar un poco de esa armonía que me hace falta en estos instantes. Sentir ese viaje espiritual en imágenes y sonidos muy hermosos ha logrado despertar en mí esa sensación de amor por la vida. Este videojuego es único, sin duda. A pesar de que ya lo he jugado siento como si lo estuviera jugando por primera vez: las emociones y sensaciones son tan maravillosas como al principio.

En esta ocasión quiero compartir esta experiencia con ustedes. Disculpen que no haya grabado con mi voz, necesitaba disfrutar plenamente del juego y sentir cada pedacito de él, y sé que ustedes también lo harán. Espero les guste tanto como a mí.

Playing Sky has helped me embrace a bit of that harmony that I need right now. Feeling that spiritual journey in very beautiful images and sounds has managed to awaken in me that feeling of love for life. This video game is unique, without a doubt. Even though I've already played it, I feel like I'm playing it for the first time: the emotions and sensations are as wonderful as at the beginning.

On this occasion I want to share this experience with you. Sorry I didn't record my voice, I needed to fully enjoy the game and feel every bit of it, and I know you will too. I hope you like it as much as me.
