Desde muy chico soñaba con ponerme esos cascos de realidad virtual y disfrutar de los videojuegos en su máxima expresión. Tal vez estos sueños míos fueron consecuencia de muchas de las series animadas que vi, incluso de películas como Ready Player One, donde el mundo de las simulaciones era realmente posible. Hace poco me recomendaron este Rec Room dizque porque el jueguito tenía un poco de chispa de esa realidad virtual de la que les hablé. Me dijeron que era para PC, y sin embargo, lo conseguí en la Playstore, LOL.

Rec Room, más que un juego de realidad virtual, es uno de simulación. Podemos hacer casi todo lo que hacemos en la vida real: hablar, saludar, hacer gestos y hasta hacer amigos. Contamos con un avatar que podemos transformar según nuestros propios gustos en cuanto a vestimenta y apariencia física, además de un cuarto el cual puede modificarse con una gran variedad de elementos decorativos… ¡todo según tu propia elección!

La verdadera dinámica de este Rec Room se encuentra en la interacción; tenemos a nuestra disposición una infinidad de cuartos o mundos en los cuales podemos compartir con otros jugadores, ya sea en un viaje turístico o en una batalla campal. Los diversos minijuegos están diseñados para ofrecernos una experiencia repleta de adrenalina, ¡y sobre todo de competitividad! Debido a que descargué este videojuego hace poco, no he logrado explorar cada uno de los mundos. Sin embargo, algunos ya han robado mi corazón.

Me es difícil jugar cualquier franquicia Shooter desde mi celular, ¡esa es una de las razones por la que no juego Call of Duty! LOL. Caminar, apuntar y disparar a la vez es una completa locura. La única forma es ser francotirador, o sea, estar en un lugar estático nada más disparando. Y aunque Rec Room no es precisamente un videojuego Shooter, en algunos minijuegos hay mucho del género. Algunas veces termino sorteando mi suerte…

Claro que Rec Room no solo contempla los minijuegos con battle royale, como dije anteriormente, hay para todos los gustos; lo que sí he notado es que a veces la interacción es muy poca, quizás porque algunos jugadores no son tan amigables. El videojuego está en inglés, por lo que la mayor parte de la audiencia se comunica por este idioma; tenemos a nuestra disposición el uso del micrófono para dialogar con otros jugadores, en tu idioma o no… incluso mientras compites con ellos.

En mi búsqueda de cuartos me encontré con uno que es una especie de circuito, al estilo de los deportes calistenicos. Obviamente en todo me fue mal, ¿ya dije que me es incomodo jugar con mi teléfono? Al menos logré escalar bien. LOL.

Mi tour por Rec Room apenas comienza, aun así, quería compartir con ustedes mis primeras impresiones. ¿Ya lo han jugado? Personalmente, me gusta su jugabilidad; el diseño del videojuego te lleva a vivir una experiencia agradable en cada uno de los minijuegos que ofrece. Ahora bien, ¿realidad virtual? Eso depende desde donde lo juegues. El hecho de que Rec Room esté disponible para smartphones, supone algo bueno… al menos para mí, LOL.

From a very young age I dreamed of putting on those virtual reality headsets and enjoying video games at their best. Perhaps these dreams of mine were a consequence of many of the animated series that I saw, even movies like Ready Player One, where the world of simulations was really possible. Recently this Rec Room was recommended to me, apparently because the little game had a bit of a spark from that virtual reality that I told you about. They told me it was for PC, and yet I got it from the Playstore, LOL.

Rec Room, more than a virtual reality game, is a simulation game. We can do almost everything we do in real life: talk, say hello, make gestures and even make friends. We have an avatar that we can transform according to our own tastes in terms of clothing and physical appearance, as well as a room which can be modified with a wide variety of decorative elements... all according to your own choice!

The true dynamic of this Rec Room is found in the interaction; we have at our disposal an infinity of rooms or worlds in which we can share with other players, either on a tourist trip or in a pitched battle. The various mini-games are designed to offer us an experience full of adrenaline, and above all, competition! Because I recently downloaded this game, I haven't been able to explore each of the worlds. However, some have already stolen my heart.

It's hard for me to play any Shooter franchise on my phone, which is one of the reasons I don't play Call of Duty! LOL. Walking, aiming and shooting at the same time is completely insane. The only way is to be a sniper, that is, to be in a static place just shooting. And although Rec Room is not exactly a Shooter video game, in some mini-games there is a lot of the genre. Sometimes I end up drawing my luck...

Of course, Rec Room not only includes battle royale minigames, as I said before, there is something for everyone; what I have noticed is that sometimes the interaction is very little, perhaps because some players are not so friendly. The video game is in English, so most of the audience communicates in this language; we have at our disposal the use of the microphone to talk with other players, in your language or not... even while you compete with them.

In my search for rooms I found one that is a kind of circuit, in the style of calisthenic sports. Obviously everything went wrong for me, have I already said that it is uncomfortable for me to play with my phone? At least I managed to climb well. LOL.

My tour of the Rec Room is just beginning, however, I wanted to share my first impressions with you. Have you already played it? Personally, I like its gameplay; the game's design leads you to live a pleasant experience in each of the minigames it offers. Now, virtual reality? That depends on where you play it from. The fact that Rec Room is available for smartphones is a good thing… at least for me, LOL.
