El último caballero del reino - Grimvalor: Jugabilidad [ESP-ENG]

Cuando de probar nuestro valor se trata, el verdadero desafío comienza… bueno, al menos en los videojuegos. Grimvalor es uno de ellos, o sea, una de las propuestas Gamer que nos lleva a un mundo perdido de monstros, destrucción, magia, caballeros y, en general, fantasía. ¡Me encanta la fantasía! Tras algunas notificaciones de la Playstore decidí probar la versión gratuita de este Grimvalor, la cual está disponible para llenarnos de la experiencia antes de comprar (si es que te termina gustando, XD) el juego de forma completa.

Esta vez decidí hacer un Gameplay a la antigua… bueno, es que como Grimvalor es una versión de prueba, no hay muchas cosas que decir más que es un videojuego fantástico para pasar un rato en nuestro Smartphone cuando no tenemos energía eléctrica, dicho en términos venezolanos: ¡cuando se va la luz! Yo lo jugué sin conexión a internet… y salvo por los Lags, me llevé muchas gratas sorpresas.

When it comes to testing our worth, the real challenge begins… well, at least in video games. Grimvalor is one of them, that is, one of the Gamer proposals that takes us to a lost world of monsters, destruction, magic, knights and, in general, fantasy. I love fantasy! After some notifications from the Playstore I decided to try the free version of this Grimvalor, which is available to fill us with the experience before buying (if you end up liking it, XD) the game completely.

This time I decided to make an old-fashioned Gameplay… well, since Grimvalor is a trial version, there aren't many things to say other than that it's a fantastic video game to spend some time on our Smartphone when we don't have electricity, said in terms Venezuelans: when the light goes out! I played it without an internet connection... and except for the lags, I got many pleasant surprises.

Como parte de una misión de exploración nos envían a las ruinas de un reino llamado Vallaris, un lugar maldito donde los monstruos habitan. Nuestra misión es hallar al rey antes de que las bestias (yo le digo ogros, XD) nos encuentren primero a nosotros. Entre los escombros radica un misterio: una bruja que, aparentemente, ha expandido el caos de Vallaris a los reinos externos. Al principio tenemos la opción de elegir nuestros personaje entre dos guerreros, uno hombre y la otra mujer, y tras ello, inicia una travesía inimaginable.

As part of an exploration mission we are sent to the ruins of a kingdom called Vallaris, a cursed place where monsters live. Our mission is to find the king before the beasts (I say ogres, XD) find us first. Among the rubble lies a mystery: a witch who has apparently spread the chaos of Vallaris to the outer realms. At the beginning we have the option of choosing our character between two warriors, one male and the other female, and after that, an unimaginable journey begins.

La primera tarea en Grimvalor es un tutorial para conocer las habilidades de nuestro personaje. Allí se nos muestra el Joystick, el cual es realmente sencillo: avanzar, retroceder, saltar y esquivar. Podemos hacer combos entre los diversos movimientos para agilizar el ataque a los enemigos. El arma del aventurero es, ni más ni menos, que una espada. La barra de salud disminuye muy rápido, por lo que hay ingeniárselas cuando las hordas de monstruos aparecen para hacernos la vida imposible. La idea es saber cómo embestir a las bestias… ¡esquivar es una de las tareas más importantes!

The first task in Grimvalor is a tutorial to learn about our character's abilities. There we are shown the Joystick, which is really simple: forward, backward, jump and dodge. We can make combos between the various movements to speed up the attack on enemies. The adventurer's weapon is nothing less than a sword. The health bar decreases very quickly, so you have to manage when the hordes of monsters appear to make your life impossible. The idea is to know how to charge the beasts… dodging is one of the most important tasks!

Algo que me gusta mucho de Grimvalor son sus gráficos. Esa peculiaridad de imágenes limpias, con colores en tonos rojos, verdes, oscuros… la calidad de este videojuego es lo suficientemente atractiva como para enganchar al Gamer. El juego no se queda estático en ningún momento, siempre hay enemigos que atacar o misiones que cumplir. El sonido, por otro lado, tiende a recordarnos a esas épicas de fantasía, parecida a los juegos de mazmorras.

Al vencer enemigos o recolectar ítems podemos acumular puntos para subir de nivel a nuestro personaje. Entre las habilidades de nuestro héroe se encuentra su agilidad, resistencia, destreza, crueldad y magia… supongo que esta última característica la conocemos en un punto más avanzado del juego, pues por ahora, jugando Grimvalor, solo he usado la espada.

Something that I really like about Grimvalor is its graphics. That peculiarity of clean images, with colors in red, green, dark tones... the quality of this video game is attractive enough to hook the Gamer. The game does not stay static at any time, there are always enemies to attack or missions to complete. The sound, on the other hand, tends to remind us of those epic fantasy, dungeon-crawling games.

By defeating enemies or collecting items we can accumulate points to level up our character. Among the abilities of our hero are his agility, resistance, dexterity, cruelty and magic... I suppose that we know this last characteristic at a more advanced point in the game, because for now, playing Grimvalor, I have only used the sword.

Y como todo buen juego de rol y aventura al final de cada nivel nos enfrentamos a unos villanos en particular. Para esta ocasión me tocó batallar con una mariposa mujer, o un hada gigante… bueno así la llamé yo pero realmente es una maga… lo cierto fue que la tipa era un completa bruja, literalmente. LOL. No fue nada fácil para mí darle sus pataditas, sobre todo porque me quitada mis puntos de salud con sus ataques de fuego.

¡Fue una batalla reñida!

And like any good role-playing and adventure game at the end of each level we face some villains in particular. For this occasion I had to battle with a female butterfly, or a giant fairy... well that's what I called her but she really is a magician... the truth was that the girl was a complete witch, literally. LOL. It wasn't easy for me to kick her, especially since she took away my health points with her fire attacks.

It was a close battle!

Lo único que no me gustó fue que hubo algunos Lags mientras jugaba y, por eso, pido disculpas. De todas formas los invito a ver el Gameplay para que corroboren en carne propia los que este Grimvalor tiene para ofrecer.
