¿Quién no está familiarizado con el anime japonés? Por lo menos yo, podría considerarme como un “Otaku de segunda clase”, o sea, que no soy tan adicto a los animes pero que igual me gustan LOL. Entonces estaba yo en la Playstore buscando algo bueno que descargar y me conseguí con un tal “Extraordinary Ones”, un videojuego cuya portada y descripción me recordó mucho a Demon Slayer, sobre todo por el arreglo gráfico. Lo añadí a mi Smartphone pensando que era una cosa y al final resultó otra. ¡Eso pasa cuando te dejas llevar por la emoción y no lees bien! Lo cierto es que les compartiré mis impresiones al respecto.

Extraordinary Ones es un videojuego que combina la arena y el multijugador en un mismo escenario; sí, es otro MOBA, pero con la peculiar característica del anime japonés. Escuchamos literalmente una musicalización típica de dichas versiones animadas, acompañadas de esas voces acentuadas y exclamatorias. Al principio tenemos la posibilidad de elegir entre tres personajes para iniciar el modo tutorial, que consiste básicamente en conocer los controles y la dinámica del juego en general. En este sentido, podemos movilizar nuestro personaje bajo la óptica cenital, algo que no me gusta mucho, pero que es habitual en este tipo de videojuegos.

El juego consiste en invadir las bases del enemigo y destruir sus torres, las cuales estarán protegidas por campos de fuerza y, además, tienen la habilidad de atacar y defenderse. Adicional a los equipos de cinco jugadores, contamos con un equipo de combatientes extras que nos ayudan a atacar a los rivales y defender nuestra base. A pesar de que Extraordinary Ones está en el idioma inglés (para mi mala suerte) se puede entender con facilidad la dinámica de juego. Al final gana el equipo que mantenga en pie sus torres y destruya las del adversario.

Cada personaje tendrá un cúmulo de habilidades distintas, las cuales se irán desbloqueando a medida que vayamos venciendo enemigos o ganando puntos en la batalla. Por otro lado, los gráficos de este Extraordinary Ones conservan algunas características del anime, al igual que la propia historia y la musicalización. Mientras jugaba el tutorial, recordé que soy muy malo para los MOBA, sobre todo porque solo corro de aquí para allá cuando mis puntos de salud están muy bajos y me derrotan fácilmente.

¡La culpa es del juego! LOL. Ya saben: cuando el panadero es malo, culpa a la harina…

En general Extraordinary Ones cuenta con tres modos de juego: “Battle, Ranked y Arcade”, aunque hasta ahora solo conozco el modo Batalla y, por lo visto, las cosas pueden ponerse mucho más interesantes aún. Algo que no me gusta tanto es que tuve que descargar más de 4GB de datos para poder disfrutar de esta experiencia, ¡es muchísimo! Yo esperé algo mejor, pero como diría mi abuelita: ¡Eso es lo que hay!

Los animo a reproducir el Gameplay para que puedan disfrutar de la experiencia completa de Extraordinary Ones, un juego que parece anime, pero que no lo es. LOL. Recuerden dejarme sus comentarios u opiniones ;-).

Who is not familiar with Japanese anime? At least I could consider myself as a "second class Otaku", that is, I'm not that addicted to anime but I still like them LOL. So I was in the Playstore looking for something good to download and I found myself with a certain “Extraordinary Ones”, a video game whose cover and description reminded me a lot of Demon Slayer, especially because of the graphic arrangement. I added it to my Smartphone thinking that it was one thing and in the end it turned out to be another. That's what happens when you get carried away by emotion and don't read well! The truth is that I will share my impressions about it.

Extraordinary Ones is a video game that combines arena and multiplayer in the same setting; yes, it's another MOBA, but with the peculiar characteristic of Japanese anime. We literally hear a musicalization typical of said animated versions, accompanied by those accentuated and exclamatory voices. At the beginning we have the possibility to choose between three characters to start the tutorial mode, which basically consists of knowing the controls and the dynamics of the game in general. In this sense, we can move our character from the top down, something that I don't like very much, but that is common in this type of video game.

The game consists of invading the enemy's bases and destroying their towers, which will be protected by force fields and, in addition, have the ability to attack and defend themselves. In addition to the teams of five players, we have a team of extra fighters that help us attack our rivals and defend our base. Despite the fact that Extraordinary Ones is in the English language (to my bad luck) the game dynamics can be easily understood. In the end, the team that keeps its towers standing and destroys those of the opponent wins.

Each character will have a host of different skills, which will be unlocked as we defeat enemies or earn points in battle. On the other hand, the graphics of this Extraordinary Ones retain some characteristics of the anime, as well as the story itself and the music. While playing through the tutorial, I was reminded that I'm really bad at MOBAs, mostly because I only run around when my health is really low and I'm easily beaten.

Blame it on the game! LOL. You know: when the baker is bad, he blames the flour...

In general Extraordinary Ones has three game modes: "Battle, Ranked and Arcade", although so far I only know the Battle mode and, apparently, things can get much more interesting. Something I don't like so much is that I had to download more than 4GB of data to be able to enjoy this experience, that's a lot! I expected better, but as my grandmother would say: That's what it is!

I encourage you to reproduce the Gameplay so you can enjoy the full experience of Extraordinary Ones, a game that looks like anime, but is not. LOL. Remember to leave me your comments or opinions ;-).
