HIVE OPEN MIC WEEK #141/ JOY TO THE WORLD/ COVERED BY SLEEMFIT✨. [ENG-ESP]

Hello Hive Open mic community, Compliments of the season friends☺️. It's week #141 of our weekly concert and I'm super excited for this one because it's my favourite time of the year (Christmas). This week's theme is "Winter" and for this week I have decided to sing a popular Christmas hymn called "Joy to the World" by English minister and hymn writer "Isaac Watts".

This carol is as old as time, it was written in the year 1719....I'm really sure none of us were born in that time and era. This song has been sung and passed on for centuries and it still conveys really deep meaning and very much relevant till date. The hymn talks about the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ and the joy He brings to the world.
I have chosen this song because it reminds me of the season( Christmas) which I said earlier is my favourite time of the year, and so it was a no brainer choosing it😃. As the name implies "Joy to the world", It gives me joy also to always sing it. The hymn brings joy to not just me but others in the world. A ray of hope, light that we need in the world was brought just by His birth.

It's winter in some parts of the world but winter here in Nigeria is in form of harmattan😉 a really cold, dry and sunny weather which usually comes in the Yuletide season. Christmas is a time to make merry, show love to the needy and be in company of our family and loved ones. As we all celebrate, please let's not forget the reason for the season "Jesus Christ". Hola comunidad de micrófono abierto de Hive, felicitaciones de la temporada amigos☺️. Es la semana #141 de nuestro concierto semanal y estoy súper emocionada por este porque es mi época favorita del año (Navidad). El tema de esta semana es "Invierno" y para esta semana he decidido cantar un popular himno navideño llamado "Alegría para el mundo" del ministro inglés y escritor de himnos "Isaac Watts".

Este villancico es tan antiguo como el tiempo, fue escrito en el año 1719... Estoy muy seguro de que ninguno de nosotros nació en esa época y época. Esta canción se ha cantado y transmitido durante siglos y todavía transmite un significado muy profundo y muy relevante hasta la fecha. El himno habla del nacimiento de nuestro Señor Jesucristo y la alegría que Él trae al mundo.
Elegí esta canción porque me recuerda la temporada (Navidad) que dije antes que es mi época favorita del año, por lo que fue obvio elegirla 😃. Como su nombre lo indica "Alegría para el mundo", me da alegría también cantarla siempre. El himno trae alegría no solo a mí sino a otros en el mundo. Un rayo de esperanza, luz que necesitamos en el mundo fue traído solo por Su nacimiento.

Es invierno en algunas partes del mundo, pero el invierno aquí en Nigeria es en forma de harmattan 😉 un clima realmente frío, seco y soleado que generalmente llega en la temporada navideña. La Navidad es una época para alegrarnos, mostrar amor a los más necesitados y estar en compañía de nuestra familia y seres queridos. Mientras todos celebramos, no olvidemos el motivo de la temporada "Jesucristo". Espero que todos disfruten 🎧 mi versión de este clásico. Feliz Navidad a todos y un hermoso año nuevo por adelantado 🎄.
