Holler hive open mic community, it's week 149 and I'm super excited about this week's theme "Light of the world" as chosen by recent spotlight artiste @jessicaossom . For this week, I'd be performing a song associated with my childhood titled "This Little Light Of Mine"🕯️✨. My earliest memory of this song can be dated as far back my days in primary school,while we assembled every morning, we were taught this song and eventually it became like an anthem that we sang everyday.

Even in church as well,this song was something we sang on a regular, telling us to be the light, and for us shine our light for the world to see. A Bible verse was even thought in this regard and I can't forget it.

"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven" (Matt. 5:16).

We all need to be a light in this world and let it shine bright for others to see, Jesus gave it to us so let's shine forth. Use your light to be a ray of hope, brighten someone's day and do good to all. The message of this song is really clear and it's really in line with this week's theme "Light of the world". We all should strive to be lights in our immediate environment, wherever we find ourselves, let our light shine. For if you can't do big things yet, start where you are. Use what you have to do what you can, wherever you are..it's the little things that matter, Do small things in a big way if you can't do the big things yet. It's all a service to God and humanity which really counts.

I don't even know who wrote this short but lovely song,searched and searched but couldn't attribute it to anyone in particular, but it's a song that is sung all over the world today. Well I kinda added a little twist to it, for more emphasis cause the world today needs a lot of light today particularly in my country Nigeria, I really pray and hope God comes through and intervenes as soon as possible. Comunidad de micrófono abierto de Holler Hive, es la semana 149 y estoy muy emocionada con el tema de esta semana "Luz del mundo" elegido por la reciente artista destacada @jessicaossom. Para esta semana, estaría interpretando una canción asociada con mi infancia titulada "This Little Light Of Mine" 🕯️✨. Mi primer recuerdo de esta canción se remonta a mis días en la escuela primaria, mientras nos reuníamos todas las mañanas, nos enseñaban esta canción y finalmente se convirtió en un himno que cantábamos todos los días.

Incluso en la iglesia también, esta canción era algo que cantábamos regularmente, diciéndonos que seamos la luz, y que brillemos nuestra luz para que el mundo la vea. Incluso se pensó un versículo de la Biblia al respecto y no puedo olvidarlo.

“Así alumbre vuestra luz delante de los hombres, para que vean vuestras buenas obras, y glorifiquen a vuestro Padre que está en los cielos” (Mateo 5:16).

Todos necesitamos ser una luz en este mundo y dejar que brille para que otros lo vean, Jesús nos lo dio, así que brillemos. Usa tu luz para ser un rayo de esperanza, ilumina el día de alguien y haz el bien a todos. El mensaje de esta canción es muy claro y realmente estoy en línea con el tema de esta semana "Luz del mundo". Todos debemos esforzarnos por ser luces en nuestro entorno inmediato, donde sea que nos encontremos, dejemos que nuestra luz brille. Porque si aún no puedes hacer grandes cosas, empieza donde estás. Usa lo que tienes para hacer lo que puedas, estés donde estés... son las pequeñas cosas las que importan, haz las cosas pequeñas a lo grande si aún no puedes hacer las cosas grandes. Es todo un servicio a Dios ya la humanidad lo que realmente cuenta.

Ni siquiera sé quién escribió esta breve pero hermosa canción, busqué y busqué pero no pude atribuirla a nadie en particular, pero es una canción que se canta en todo el mundo hoy. Bueno, le agregué un pequeño giro, para enfatizar más porque el mundo de hoy necesita mucha luz, particularmente en mi país Nigeria, realmente oro y espero que Dios intervenga lo antes posible. Espero que todos disfruten mi versión de esta hermosa pieza, miren hasta el final y siéntanse libres de cantar 🤍&💡✨.
