The Great Awakening - Sitar and Tabla

This started out as just an improvisation to get warmed up on the sitar, I have it tuned to Ravi Shankar tuning. Later I decided to add six tracks of Indian drums with my Roland Handsonic. Some of the drum tracks include tabla, dhol, tanpura, shakers, cajon and some cowbells. The fractal backgrounds were created in jwildfire and animated in after effects.

The overall mood of the song reminds me of a bunch of people waking up on a clear day feeling fully rested and energized to go out and be productive. Thanks for listening :-)
