Hello dear friends of #Openmic, I hope you are very well and have an excellent start of the week, we are in week 152 with the theme "Traditional Music" proposed by our colleague @bertrayo to whom I send a big hug. In my country (Venezuela) we have as traditional music the llanera and the gaitas, the latter more than everything is heard in December or in dates close to Christmas. Today I wanted to share with you a cover of an old song by the Venezuelan artist "Reynaldo Armas" titled "Quince Años". This song was released in 1998 for the album "Atardecer Llanero ".

Reynaldo is nicknamed the "Cardenal Sabanero" and is one of the greatest exponents of llanera music in our country. The truth is that when we talk about llanera music I can't help but think of a good farm, enjoying a cachapa with handmade cheese and its respective meat on a stick, of course accompanied by a good papelón with lemon.

I knew the song "Quince Años" a long time ago, I remember that at that time a cousin of mine had her birthday and that was one of the songs that was played after dancing the traditional waltz.

Hola que tal, estimados amigos del #Openmic, espero se encuentren muy bien y tengan un excelente inicio de semana, estamos en la semana 152 con la temática "Música Tradicional" propuesta por nuestro compañero @bertrayo a quien envío un gran abrazo. En mi país (Venezuela) tenemos como música tradicional la llanera y las gaitas, esta última mas que todo se escuchan en diciembre o en fechas cercanas a la navidad. El día de hoy les quise compartir un cover de una canción algo viejita del artista Venezolano "Reynaldo Armas" titulado "Quince Años". Esta canción fue lanzada en el año 1998 para el álbum "Atardecer Llanero".

Reynaldo es apodado el "Cardenal Sabanero" y es uno de los mas grandes exponentes de la música llanera en nuestro país. La verdad cuando hablamos de música llanera no puedo evitar pensar en una buena finca, disfrutando de una cachapa con queso de mano y su respectiva carne en vara, por supuesto acompañado de un buen papelón con limón.

La canción "Quince Años" la conocí hace mucho tiempo, recuerdo que para ese entonces una prima estaba de cumple y esa fue una de las canciones que le colocaron después de bailar el tradicional vals.
