Thorn Shield Victory - Splinterlands

My first mistake here was forgetting that Fog of War, which cancels out Sneak and Snipe, does not cancel out Opportunity which put my Disintegrator at risk this entire battle until its defeat.

If I'd known that, I would've traded Disintegrator's last position with Stone Golem's 3rd position.

Luckily Hydra's Speed of 4 didn't cause too many missed melee attacks for me.

I was surprised they didn't use Diemonshark but they did hide Serpent of Eld further back in their line up.

They were so confident that I wouldn't use an Opportunity monster that they also left their Disintegrator in last position, which makes me wonder if I need to use more Opportunity monsters in my melee strategies.
