Hello friends 🤗❤. It's another beautiful week in the Hive Open Mic community.

The theme fight oppression is a beautiful and insightful theme by @. As the world is advancing so are some social vices. Oppression can be cruelty or slavery, it can also be internal turmoil.

In every society, there is an unwritten strata. One thing I've observed that makes all the difference in these strata is the mindset. These days I see people justify their own wrongdoings, yet castigate and look down on other people who are sometimes, better morally than they are. This saddens me a lot and made me decide to hold my head up high wherever I find myself and stand for what I believe. And in cases when I can, help others fight against it as well. This has often gotten me in bad books with certain people, but I won't be oppressed or be a party to oppression.

Harriet Tubman was a young girl when she ran away from the home of her master and the rest of her family. Her master wasn't acknowledging the promise his father made to Harriet's parents that her generation would be free, so Harriet decided to take her own freedom in her own hands.
She succeeded at that and proceeded to help several other blacks. She stood her ground against the unfair ownership of her destiny. Despite being alone, she helped several people break free from slavery.

Finally, never let yourself be subject to worry or internal pressure. Stand your ground and stay positive!
