About :
Pomelo Chess Society is an instrumental rock trio from Rijeka, Croatia. Formed in 2021, they have released three albums since then. As chess lovers, they play their own musical genre, Checkmate Rock, which contains elements of noise, math rock, and metal.
The two songs, Morus Neira (they have cool masks), and Venator, are from their latest album, Citrus Maximus, which was released last September and is presented here.
By the way, all three of their albums are free (name your price) for download.
I recorded them in July 2022 at Trnje Festival, and I've been following them ever since.
The video is part of a performance at the rock club MKNŽ, Ilirska Bistrica, Slovenia, 18.1.2025.
