Hail to the Hive,
a while back we launched one of our dive boats and I was curious to see how they would do it as it was high on the beach and quite a large boat. Over 44ft in length and outriggers on either side as it was built in the traditional Bangka Style here in the Philippines.
Of course it was mostly just manpower ( in protective flip flops) a few logs to roll the keel of the boat boat on and a bit of luck.
It was located on a beach not far from the dive centre and the engine was at another location. Apparently it was easier to tow the boat to near where the engine was than to bring it to the boat. I thought better of interjecting with any of my ideas and left the guys to it.
Then of course you have to launch it with a few beers and a bit of a ride around in the ocean. All in all quite a pleasant afternoon. Apologies for the awful Nemo looking T shirt, I did away with all that tat a while back.
Hope you like it
Ciao!
