Hail to the Hive!

In todays episode our friend @diveratt surprises us with a gift of a vintage searchlight to install on to Badger the Narrowboat to better assist us with navigating through canal tunnels. It's our first real modification to our new home.

We were luckily positioned in an area where we could give the new light a test run through a short tunnel to see how effective it is.

We are now 9 weeks into our new life on board Badger and narrowboat living is still as much fun as ever but still very challenging. Join us as we explore the UK's canals and rivers discovering the beauty of the inland waterways. It's a unique and special part of Britains heritage and a real pleasure to explore.
