Nigeria presidential election is coming up very soon. I'm sorry but I have to say this, it is a pity looking at the Nigerian democratic system right now and even our government policies, it has been one hell of a pack because most people now see politics as a monarchial system whereby a parent who occupies a particular Powerful position in the country or state now has the believe and right that they should hand over their powerful positions to their children because they do not want it to leave their family line, which is not supposed to be so.
So many people even feel entitled to positions such as being a governor, president, senators and even house of rep because they feel entitled to it and that they should be the one to be in power due to some of the little good things that they might have done for the masses in one way or the other, which I believe should not be so.
Right now in Nigeria we are facing some crisis which and should not even be heard outside that we are facing those particular crisis and the country's presidential election is around the corner. I'm actually presenting this song right now so as just to remind us of what we have turned ourselves to in this country and if we do not stop this act of convetiousness,it is very glaring that it might lead to our ruin. Do not do to others what you won't allow them to do to you, life is very delicate.
Let's sit back and enjoy this week's entry. Even though I have cold which has really affected my voice. (Abeg, help me manage am) 😶.
LYRICS
I'm in chains you're in chains too
I wear uniforms and you wear uniforms too
I'm a prisoner,
You're a prisoner too Mr Jailer
I have fears you have fears too
I will die, you sef go die too
Life is beautiful
Don't you think so too Mr Jailer
[Chorus:]
I'm talking to you jailer
Stop calling me a prisoner
Let he who is without sin -
Be the first to cast the stone Mr Jailer, Mr Jailer Man
You suppress all my strategies
You oppress every part of me
What you don't know,
You're a victim too Mr Jailer
You don't care about my point of view
If I die another will work for you
So you treat me like a modern slave Mr Jailer
[Chorus]
You see, if you're walking in a market place
Don't throw stones
Even if you do, you just might hit
One of your own
Life is not about your policies
All the time
So you better rearrange your
Philosophies and be good to your Fellow man
Jailer
[Chorus x2]
I hear my baby say
I wanna be president
I wan chop money
From my government
What he don't know
What he won't know
What he can't know
Jailer, Jailer oh
Be good oh [x3] somebody
Be good oh [x6]
Jailer, Jailer
