Por lo que hoy decidí atreverme y realizar una pintura de una maravillosa persona y amiga Hiver, ella es @zullyscott y para ello quiero compartirles un poco de la historia sobre cómo la conocí.

Un día, navegando por Hive me encontré con una publicación de un Meetup de la comunidad de Barquisimeto, fue entonces cuando la contacté y después de unos días, durante la planificación del Hive Creators Day de Barquisimeto tuve la oportunidad de conocerla junto con @filoriologo, @anticafepastisse y @asderhz en Anticafe Pastisserie desde ese momento hemos compartido en el Hive Creators Day, Expresa tus talentos en Hive y Hive Art Meetup. ¡Es una gran persona a quien agradezco muchísimo por su orientación y sabiduría al momento de instruirme con cariño y responder a mis dudas siempre!

So today I decided to dare and make a painting of a wonderful person and friend Hiver, she is @zullyscott and for that I want to share with you a little bit of the story about how I met her.

One day, surfing Hive I came across a publication of a Meetup of the Barquisimeto community, it was then when I contacted her and after a few days, during the planning of the Hive Creators Day in Barquisimeto I had the opportunity to meet her along with @filoriologo, @anticafepastisse and @asderhz in Anticafe Pastisserie since that moment we have shared in the Hive Creators Day, Express your talents in Hive and Hive Art Meetup. She is a great person to whom I am very grateful for her guidance and wisdom when instructing me with love and always answering my doubts!

Desde que salió la idea del Hive Meetup de Arte quise ayudar sin embargo surgieron tantos acontecimientos que no tuve la oportunidad de hacerlo más, tuve la idea de hacer un regalo para algunas de esas personas quienes me han ayudado tanto desde que las conocí en este rocoso y a la vez hermoso camino de Hive. Por lo que a pesar de en estos momentos no contar con muchos materiales y la mayoría de los que tengo actualmente ser prestados, logré convertir en arte material de reciclaje con el que ya contaba en casa. Por lo que los materiales de los que hice uso fueron los siguientes:

Since the idea of the Hive Art Meetup came up I wanted to help but so many events came up that I didn't have the opportunity to do it anymore, I had the idea of making a gift for some of those people who have helped me so much since I met them on this rocky yet beautiful road of Hive. So even though I don't have many materials at the moment and most of the ones I currently have are borrowed, I managed to turn recycled material I already had at home into art. So the materials I made use of were the following:

Inicié realizando el boceto haciendo uso de un lápiz de grafito número 2 y a pesar de que no tengo conocimientos de distribución de rostro lo hice siguiendo los detalles más relevantes que veía en la imagen. Este tipo de dibujos suelo hacerlos en el mismo estilo agrandando un poco más los ojos y dando brillo sobre las zonas más altas del dibujo.

Continúe pintando dando varias capas que cubrieran por completo el cartón.

I started making the sketch using a number 2 graphite pencil and although I have no knowledge of face distribution I did it following the most relevant details that I saw in the image. This type of drawings I usually do them in the same style enlarging a little more the eyes and giving brightness on the highest areas of the drawing.

Continue painting giving several layers that completely cover the cardboard.

Continúe agregando tonalidades cálidas hasta tener cubierto todo el dibujo. En esta parte ya casi había completado lo que es la pintura base y estaba casi listo para comenzar con los detalles y sombreado.

Continue adding warm tones until you have covered the whole drawing. At this point I had almost completed the underpainting and was almost ready to start with the details and shading.

Para comenzar con los detalles di sombreado en las zonas profundas, la zona de la mandíbula, dedos, a guitarra, nariz, entre otros. Y aquí viene la parte divertida (al menos para mí jajaja) y es que suelo agregar varios puntos de Luz brillante alrededor de mis dibujos y así pueden verse un poco más a mi estilo.

To start with the details I shaded the deep areas, the jaw area, fingers, guitar, nose, among others. And here comes the fun part (at least for me hahaha) and is that I usually add several points of bright light around my drawings so they can look a little more like my style.

Finalmente y posteriormente a haber culminado los detalles de mi dibujo le di una capa protectora de brillo en agua y de esta forma evitar que se raspe la pintura y así tendrá un mayor tiempo de duración aún a pesar de qué no hago uso de pinturas de calidad.

Finally and after having finished the details of my drawing I gave it a protective layer of gloss in water to avoid scratching the paint and so it will last longer even though I don't use quality paints.

Finalmente tuve la gran oportunidad de verla personalmente para hacerle entrega de este obsequio qué espero con todo mi corazón que le haya gustado y por su reacción sé que fue así ¡Muchas gracias Zully!

Finally I had the great opportunity to see her personally to give her this gift which I hope with all my heart that she liked it and by her reaction I know she did. Thank you very much Zully!
