Kick-started yesterday by the Puja on wheels program by Super hit 93.5 RED FM

October is the month when the celebration season begins at our society with the Puja on wheels program conducted by 93.5 RED FM on our premises. In fact they start this program from our apartment, and then continue visiting other societies for the Dussehra (Vijayadashami) Celebrations. This sets the celebration spirit in us, as we are about to welcome the pleasing Winter. The program continues for almost 3 hours that includes events like dance, sing, fashion show for kids and ladies category. And then there are two special events to showcase our auspicious traditional capabilities : Blow the conch shell (Shankha), and Hulahuli - sound produced by women for festivity and prosperity. The award goes to them, who can perform for the max time.

They bring a lot of prizes, along with their sponsor partners as you can see. Its a lovely event to showcase some talent and take prizes / goodies. And most importantly enjoy the time by participating , irrespective of who takes the prize.

You can watch the video to feel the fun - everyone is happy with this program irrespective of whether they got a prize or not - THAT makes the program a grand success. The entire crew know many of our ladies personally as well - ya the ladies rock as you can see.

And there is special pre-cooked food competition, for which our ladies bring food prepared at home. The crew tastes and awards the best three participants, of course, its some of the best home food they can enjoy on stage. And the crowd then takes over, there is stiff competition there. I was lucky to taste few of them, and they were indeed very very tasty - next time please bring more.....

The amazing song performance from Priya was soothing - you and the entire crew made our evening - so a big thank you to the entire team.

The platform was very suitable for some nice clicks so we took every opportunity to have some memories captured.

And how could we let the evening go away without some dance !! To conclude the celebration, we all danced together to few tunes - energized to plan a bigger one during Diwali. Thank you everyone who came, participated and be with us - those who missed, being captured here, better show up in our next event.
