I'm @samuelstifen I come from Indonesia, as time goes by and day to day openmic can continue until week 188.
I am happy to be able to always present works here and get to know many musicians from different countries, and provide lessons.
For Hive Open Mic 188, the theme follows: "Fly and Dream." This theme was chosen by : @yisusth .

as we feel, when we were little we had the biggest dreams of our lives or even now we definitely want to fly and dream to achieve a dream that we are pursuing. But we always sometimes get tired and want to give up because we have to overcome many obstacles to achieve happiness. It is true that achieving something is never easy, you have to sacrifice a lot of time, energy and thoughts to achieve that dream.
and I also still have dreams that I have not achieved, I am also still in the process of achieving my dreams.
My goal for this is that from the past until now I have wanted to be an indie musician and have my own works and create songs for the whole world to hear.
and live happily with family.
although until now I have not provided my own best work.
but I will create my own work with satisfying results that can be heard by many people here.

and maybe friends or all of us have the same dream of becoming a musician, we definitely feel tired, complain and want to give up, but don't give up, keep pursuing it because the process will not betray the results, even though the process is painful and disappointing, but everything It will be perfect if we are patient and consistent in doing it. Nothing is impossible. If we are willing to process and face bitterness, God will also intervene in our life goals to make us happier.

and I'm really happy if today's theme is really cool, I don't know what I feel about this theme, but honestly when I practice the song I want to sing I only feel one thing, that I'm at a concert with this band.
So the song that I brought today is entitled tendangan dari langit which comes from my country too, this band is called Kotak Band, this band also has the characteristic of rockstar style, Kotak is a rock band formed from The Dream Band event on 27 September 2004. Now Kotak consists of 3 members Tantri, (vocalist) Chua (bassist) and Cella (guitar)
When the drummer left the band, the band was still popular, only when they performed they chose to look for a session player for the drummer, so the band is still standing with 3 members to this day.
