Hive Open Mic Week 125 – I Belive I Can Fly (Cover song) by Samuel & Frans

Hi dear friends, I am Samuel and my friend Frans is back at the weekly Hive #openmic event which has entered its 125th week with the theme "Nothing is Impossible" which was chosen by our friend @bernice001. This is a great theme for this week as we will be performing a cover of the song called “I Believe I Can Fly” by the wonderfully great soloist “R. Kelly."

In my opinion, this week's theme is very optimistic. Many people are desperate and just give up without doing anything. Those who give up on their lives are weak people and think that success for themselves is impossible. But it is not. I believe that in this world nothing is impossible. My belief is proven after experiencing things that should be impossible instead become possible.

From this theme, I will tell you a little about my life experience. When I was 10 years old, I wanted a bicycle. All my friends my age have their bikes. Because I was born into a poor family, my parents couldn't afford to buy me a bicycle. I said to my friend that I will buy a bicycle one day. They laugh at me because they think it's impossible. Because my parents were poor and couldn't possibly buy a bicycle for me.

Because I want a bicycle, every time I come home from school I look for used bottles and non-organic items that are no longer used to sell to collectors. For more than a month I collect non-organic waste that can be sold. I walked three kilometres while carrying a large sack. Sometimes I also have to deal with hot and rainy weather. Not infrequently my feet hurt when looking for used bottles in the garbage disposal. Until finally I was able to buy a bicycle on my way.

What is your biggest dream right now? Do you feel that what you want will be impossible to achieve? Believe that the impossible can become possible if we fight for it with all our hearts. So dream big, work harder, and pray harder. After that, watch what happens. Therefore, the song entitled “I Believe I Can Fly” really inspires all of us that we can achieve anything.
