Hive Open Mic Week 152 - Sio Mamae (Cover) by Samuel and Frans

Hi, friends and beloved family in Hive Open Mic Community. Introduce, my name is Samuel Stifen, a guitarist, and my friend Frans is a vocalist. We are both the acoustic music group The People People. No taste, the #Openmic weekly event has entered number 152. Every day I see great and talented musicians here. This proves that the Hive Open Mic weekly program is getting frontier.

So, this week's theme is "Traditional Music". This theme was chosen by @bertrayo, he is a talented guitarist in this Hive community. I like the classy guitar game. From this week's theme, we both performed a cover song called "Sio Mamae", by Melki Guslauw. Melki Guslauw is a singer and song composer from Maluku, Indonesia. His name is not so famous, but many of his works are known by people in the 80s. The song titled Sio Mamae he wrote in the 70s.

Traditional music is unique and non-general music, usually, traditional music reflects certain cultures and societies. Each region has its traditional music, and usually, traditional music is played at traditional events or cultural events. The song that we brought is a song that has local languages from Maluku. Although the music played is not traditional music, the delivery of language in the lyrics uses Ambon language. Ambon language is the language used by the people on the island of Sulawesi.
