Yow! It's time for another blog. I've been pushing myself to try things I've never done before, such as this. I never exposed myself to other singers who put forth a valiant effort. Many things are beginning to change me. I will continue to try to master abilities until the day comes when I can declare that this is a rewarding hardwork result.

This is my entry for this week's hive open mic contest. I was recently considering what music would be perfect for me to share with everyone when I came across a video of a couple who are estranged from each other. Then I relate that to my own tale of a difficult love life I had in 2020.

I had a girlfriend with whom I had been in a relationship for almost a year. We had a great time in 2019 because she was a classmate of mine. I used to go see her after class was over. Everything that happens in 2019 will change in 2020, giving the partnership a shiver. The song "Having you close me" mirrored my circumstances because of the epidemic. It's impossible for me to pretend it didn't hurt.

Now I'm going to share this song cover that I made with everyone here. This is the first time I've posted a video of myself singing a song. I had a lot of fun singing it. And it brings up recollections from my past that I can't get back.

Thank you for hosting this contest; it has re-enlightened me to improve my skills, such as singing. Being able to enter this contest and share my video of me singing cover music has been a lot of fun. I'm hoping this competition will continue.
