Thomas was a rickety old man that lived in a rickety old house

He lived in Rickettsville which was a Rickety old town with broken and bendy buildings.

All the streets were paved with cobblestones and they were all twisty and turny and humpy and bumpy.

On Thursday, Thomas had to go to the shops on his rust rickety old bike, wobbling all the way there and all the way back, he wobbled so much he couldn’t wobble any more

Thomas had a guest coming over for tea and he wanted to make sure that he had those twisty swirly pastries to offer them.

Thomas was looking forward to having a guest; he hadn’t had anyone round for tea since he won that medal for being the town’s biggest hopper in the annual hopping race.

Thomas thought about how rickety his life was and in fact, when trying to have a cup of tea it would be a big mucky mess.

Thomas would pour his tea from his twisted and troubled old teapot into his cracked and cranky old teacup which was on the tipping uneven old table and because the house was so rickety and he would be so wobbly he would always spill tea onto his rickety floor

It was 10 oclock and his guest would be here at any moment.

Thomas hopped into his rickety old shower and had to dance about to get wet as the shower just wanted to stop and start and spurt and dribble.

With his shower finished, Thomas was just looking into his cracked and craggy old mirror when the doorbell rang.

Thomas went down his creaky and squeaky rickety old stairs to the twisted and turned rickety old door.

He tugged and tugged and tugged and pulled, he twisted and turned and tugged again, eventually the door crunched and clanged open.

Hello Thomas, Agnes said as she wobbled into the hallway. You really should get that door looked at, it probably only needs a curly swirly shave taken off the side and it should open up fine.
