MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN is one of the Monsters that attack targets with Magic Attacks and can be very effective in battles. Especially since she has the Taunt Ability, all enemy monsters target her. This means that the opposing team's first attack will be against her, meaning that other Monsters in the team will not take damage until she is destroyed. I would like to point out that Monsters with the Scattershot Ability do not follow this rule. Mycelic Slipspawn has 9 mana so I usually prefer her in high mana battles. I would like to state that she is very effective in battles when used with a good strategy.
Mycelic Slipspawn was first found on the edges of the swamps of Praetoria, in areas where the fetid waters meet with the forests and jungles. It is highly toxic and grows to a substantial size. Death is uncommon for those who touch its fibrous body however, the side effects of its toxins can cause a long list of illnesses and disease, leaving its victims severely debilitated.
When the chaos portal opened and the creeping plague infected the land, the Slipspawn struggled to endure, being completely intolerant to the deadly pandemic. But then Queen Mycelia came, she touched the Slipspawn as she passed it by and it drank from her power, an enduring energy that ran deep and defiantly cast the pestilence of the chaos taint aside. The Slipspawn pulled its roots free from the ground and eagerly danced across the leafy forest floor after her, desperate to follow its saviour and stand by her in the times to come.
MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN has the Taunt Ability at level 1. All enemy Monsters target Monsters with the Taunt Ability. MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN also has the Forcefield Ability at level 4 and the Slow Ability at level 8. Monsters with the Forcefield Ability only take 1 damage from attacks with power 5+. Monsters with the Slow Ability reduce the Speed of all enemy Monsters. Mycelic Slipspawn is a powerful Monster with three great abilities that can be quite effective in battles and is very useful for the team. Frankly, I think she's one of the Monsters every team needs.
Currently my MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN NFT card is at 2 levels and I would love to upgrade it to level 8 in the future. In particular, I am aiming to upgrade this NFT card to the 4th level in the near future. I think the level 4 MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN will be much more useful to my team, because she can survive battles longer as she only takes 1 damage from 5+ powerful attacks.
A rare NFT card, the MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN NFT card is currently starting at $0.31 on the market. The Gold Foil MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN NFT card starts at $5.15 on the market. Frankly, I see that the price is right for me. After the Riftwatchers and Splinterlands Tower Defense pre-sale, one of my first goals will be to upgrade this NFT card.

Aim True rule means Melee and Ranged attacks always hit their target.
Noxious Fumes rule means all Monsters start the battle Poisoned.
Before starting the battle in the video, I reviewed the last 5 battles of the opposing player and they have some pretty powerful NFT cards and level 6 Summoners. I was going to fight with a stronger team than me, so I needed to determine a much better strategy to win this battle.
Considering the ruleset of the battle, I decided to use the Summoner Scarred Llama Mage and 2 Monsters with the Heal Ability in this battle. And so that they don't take damage from the first attacks, I decided to add one Monster with the Taunt Ability to the team. I believed that this way I would be more likely to win the battle. Also, considering that the opposing player can add a monster with Heal Ability to the last position with a similar strategy, I added a Sneak Monster to my team that can make powerful attacks.
I chose SCARRED LLAMA MAGE as Summoner in this battle because SCARRED LLAMA MAGE is an excellent Summoner that gives +2 Health, Last Stand, and Cleanse Abilities to all friendly Monsters. Considering the rules of battle, all the Monsters on my team would quite a lot need these abilities and +2 health.
LEGIONNAIRE ALVAR is a Monster that can attack targets with Melee Attacks and has the Void Armor Ability. Magic Attacks hit the armor of monsters with the Void Armor Ability before their health. The most important reason why I chose LEGIONNAIRE ALVAR in this battle was that he had the Void Armor Ability. And I put him in the first position in the team. All attacks would hit his armor before his health.
The Chaos Legionnaires are ruthless warriors and the Chaos Legion's elite fighting force. Alvar Veralyn was conscripted into their ranks at a young age after his family was slain and his world conquered by the Chaos Legion. The harsh conditioning that all conscripts receive nearly broke the child, but in the end, his old, easy way of life was subsumed by the desire for battle and conquest. Eventually, he rose to the rank of General and now stands as leader of the Chaos Legionnaires.

His conquests are legendary even among the Legionnaires, and he earned the title of Godkiller after the Battle of Dargnilat, during which he single-handedly defeated one of the Old Gods.

GOBLIN PSYCHIC is a Monster that can attack targets with Magic Attack and has the Tank Heal Ability. Monsters with the Tank Heal Ability restores a portion of the Monster in the first position's health each round. The most important reason I chose GOBLIN PSYCHIC in this battle was because he has Tank Heal Ability and I put him in 3rd position in the team.
The Magi Tower is where Goblins go to learn how to use psychic abilities. It isn't just a gift Goblins can learn, but due to the proximity of Gobson, Goblins tend to show up more frequently. The Magi who calls the tower home, enjoys teaching the art of using one's mind to move objects and read thoughts. Goblin Psychics use their abilities to perform work in Gobson or become adventurers and practice to become a full fledged Summoner.
SAND WORM is a prety powerful Monster with the Sneak Ability that can attack targets with Melee Attacks. To target the last position Monster on the opposing team in this battle, I added it to the team and placed it in position 4.
Huge Sand Worms have always lived in the desert of Draykh-Nahka, but with the recent uncovering of the various Untamed Prophecies, they have mysteriously grown even larger. They have also become more wild and free, somehow discovering how to escape from the Sands of the Dragon Splinter. Although it has never been witnessed, biologists believe that the Worms have learned how to swim. If they have indeed learned to burrow through water like sand, the Splinterlands will suffer greatly from their proliferation. In Mount Mox battle, Sand Worms can swallow monsters of nearly any size with no need to chew. They can even snatch fliers directly from the air, extending out of the ground even higher than the arena walls.
FLESH GOLEM is a very powerful Monster that can attack the target with Melee Attack and has Heal Ability. The most important reason why I chose him in this battle was because he had Heal Ability. Also, SCARRED LLAMA MAGE and FLESH GOLEM are one of the best combos. Since he had the ability to heal, he would be able to regain the health lost by poisoning. He would also gain increased stats if he remained the last monster on the team. That's why I put him in the 5th position in the team.
The ghastly Flesh Golems of Anumün reside in the damp root tunnels of the Elder Tree. These remnants of the lost tribes from before the Splintering have incredible powers of regeneration. Since they drink from the River of Power, the Flesh Golems each attack with the strength of a hundred men.
KRON THE UNDYING is one of the extremely powerful Monsters that can attack the target with Magic Attacks and have the Heal Ability. The most important reason why I chose Kron the Undying in this battle was because he had Heal Ability. He can also attack while on the back line, and it can be really hard to beat him with the increased stats he gains when the last monster is left on the team. I think SCARRED LLAMA MAGE and KRON THE UNDYING are the best combos and I really like using them together. When used with a good strategy, it is very difficult to beat the two.
Kron the Undying is the undisputed leader of the Centauri people of Anumün. Hundreds of years ago, he discovered a great secret which allowed him to defy death as generations passed before him. He ocassionally keeps the company of the Spirit of the Forest herself, and he has picked up some impressive skills of magic through his long life. Kron is aware of the truth of Dark Energy
The battle rule also had the Noxious Fumes rule, so my strategy in battle was primarily to make the Monsters on my team survive longer. That's why I added Heal Ability Monsters to my team, and thanks to the Cleanse Ability, the Monster in the first position would not be affected by the poison. Also, thanks to MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN, other monsters in my team were not the target of the first attacks. My strategy worked, even though Chaos Dragon didn't follow this rule. I also wanted one of the Monsters with the Heal Ability to remain as the last monster in the team, and with that in mind, I determined the position of the monsters. My strategy in particular was that Kron the Undying was the last monster on the team. Frankly, my strategy worked very well in this battle and everything went as planned and my team won the battle. Also, while my summoner was level 1, the opponent player's summoner was level 6. I recommend you to watch this challenging and wonderful battle on video or battle link
MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN can be very useful for the team in battles when used with a good strategy. Also, the 4th level MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN NFT card is much more useful. For example, in this battle, the 4th level MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN would only take 1 damage from the attacks of Sand Worm in the opposing team. So I have to upgrade my MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN NFT card to level 4 soon. And when I upgrade the 4th level, it will be much more useful to my team.
