Hello music lovers community and my Hive friends. This song is one of Turkey's most famous folk music songs.

I want to tell you the lyrics and the story of the song. It's a sad love story and unfortunately it ends badly. The place where the story of the song takes place is the city of Samsun in Turkey. Ahmet and Melek love each other very much. Ahmet has to go to the army one day. And since she is far from her lover, the days go by..

In the village where the angel lives, the son of an agha falls in love with the Melek and forcibly kidnaps the Melek.

Ahmet, on the other hand, when he heard this news in the army, he escaped from the army and returned to his village.

He starts to search for the Melek by the "Yeşil ırmak", but the falling rains create a flood and sweep everything along the shores of Canik Mountain.

The villagers, on the other hand, set out to look for Ahmet and the Melek after life returns to normal. But they come across two corpses at the bottom of a rock. And they see that one is Ahmet and the other is Melek.

After this event, this song is born in Turkish Folk Music and was produced from laments. And in my country, I am sure that as a folk music that everyone knows and loves, it is mostly performed with the Baglama instrument.

Merhaba müzik sever topluluğu ve Hive TR arkadaşlarım. Bu şarkı Türkiyenin en ünlü halk müziği şarkılarından biridir.

Şarkının sözlerini , ve hikayesini sizlere anlatmak istiyorum. Hüzünlü bir aşk hikayesi ve malesef sonu kötü bitiyor. Şarkının hikayesinin geçtiği yer Türkiyenin Samsun şehri. Ahmet ve Melek birbirlerini çok seviyorlar. Ahmet bir gün askere gitmek zorunda kalır. Ve sevgilisinden uzakta olduğu için günler geçmek bilmez..

Meleğin yaşadığı köyde bir ağanın oğlu ise Meleğe aşıktır ve zorla meleği kaçırır.

Ahmet ise askerde bu haberi duyunca askerden kaçar ve köyüne geri döner.

Meleği Yeşil ırmak kenarında aramaya başlar ama yağan yağmurlar adeta sel oluşturarak Canik dağının kıyılarında her şeyi önüne katarak süpürür..

Köylüler ise hayat normale döndükten sonra Ahmet ve Melek'i aramaya koyulurlar. Ama bir kayanın dibinde iki cesetle karşılaşırlar. Bir de bakarlarki biri Ahmet diğeri ise Melek.

Bu olaydan sonra ise Türk Halk Müziğinde bu şarkı doğar ve ağıtlardan üretilmiştir. Ve ülkemde eminim herkesin bildiği ve Sevdiği bir halk müziği olarak en çok Bağlama çalgısı ile seslendirilir.
