We will need / Vamos a necesitar:

Drinks cans / Latas de bebidas
Paints and brush / Pinturas y pincel
Liquid silicon and scissors / Silicón líquido y tijeras
White Glue / Pega blanca

We start by cutting the can in half with the help of a cutter or scissors. We are going to trim it well in order to refine the finish.

Iniciamos cortando la lata a la mitad con la ayuda de un cúter o tijeras. Vamos a recortar bien para afinar el acabado.

We need to make a cut on the bottom edge of the top part of the can so that it can fit well into the bottom piece. The idea is to create a smaller can, which imitates the shape of a small pot.

Necesitamos hacer un corte en el borde inferior de la parte arriba de la lata para que esta pueda encajar bien en la pieza de abajo. La idea es crear una lata más pequeña, que imite la forma de una ollita.

We will also use the rings of the cans as handles for the pots. Fold them in this way, paint them black and set them aside.

Utilizaremos también las anillas de las latas que van a fungir de asas para las ollitas. Las doblamos de esta manera, pintamos en color negro y reservamos.

Now it is time to paint the tin white with cold paint or acrylic paint; it is necessary to apply several coats.

To give it a nice decorative touch we will apply the splattering technique, applying black paint with a toothbrush.

On the top and bottom edge I applied some black paint to imitate a pewter pot.

En el borde superior e inferior apliqué un poco de pintura negra para imitar una olla del peltre.

Now it's time to glue the handles on the sides so that our little pot takes shape.

As a decorative detail I placed a paper flower in the center and then I proceeded to varnish the whole piece with a homemade water shine that I made by mixing equal parts of water and white glue.

Como un detalle decorativo le coloqué una flor de papel en el centro y luego procedí a barnizar toda la pieza con brillo al agua casero que realicé mezclando partes iguales de agua y pega blanca.
