Greetings, Hive Open Mic family, in its 120th week! Today I would like to present a song that goes hand in hand with the theme "My Happiness", proposed for this edition. The song is called Hoy Toca Ser Feliz (Today it's time to be happy), a piece by the Spanish folk metal band Mago de Oz, as part of the album Gaia II: La Voz Dormida, released in 2006.

As we can appreciate in its lyrics, the song talks about how we should try to get ahead before adversities and leave aside sadness and difficulties, downplaying their importance and focusing on the positive. Today it’s definitely our turn to be happy, to give ourselves a new opportunity, because life is short and we must enjoy it, full of optimism and good vibes.

¡Saludos, familia de Hive Open Mic, en su semana 120! El día de hoy deseo presentarles un tema que va muy de la mano con la temática “Mi Felicidad”, propuesto para la presente edición. La canción lleva por nombre Hoy Toca Ser Feliz, una pieza de la banda española de folk metal Mago de Oz, como parte del álbum Gaia II: La Voz Dormida, lanzado en el año 2006.

Como podemos apreciar en su letra, la canción habla de que debemos intentar salir adelante antes las adversidades y dejar de lado las tristezas y las dificultades, restándoles importancia y enfocándonos en lo positivo. Definitivamente hoy nos toca ser felices, darnos una nueva oportunidad, pues la vida es corta y hay que disfrutarla, llenos de optimismo y buenas vibras.
