    ¡Tengan un feliz día, comunidad de Hive Food! ¡Qué alegría poder compartir con ustedes una nueva receta! En esta ocasión, les presento una pasta tipo Codos alla Norma, un plato tradicional del sur de Italia, especial para los amantes de la comida vegetariana. Veamos de qué se trata.

    The ingredients we will need are / Los ingredientes que vamos a necesitar son:

  • ½ Kilo of Gobbetti Pasta / ½ Kilo de Pasta Codos
  • 4 Large tomatoes / 4 Tomates grandes
  • 2 Eggplants / 2 Berenjenas
  • 5 Cloves of garlic / 5 Dientes de ajos
  • Fresh basil / Albahaca fresca
  • Sunflower oil / Aceite de girasol
  • Salt to taste / Sal al gusto
  • Salty ricotta cheese / Queso Ricotta salado
  • To start, we peel and cut the tomatoes into medium pieces.
  • Then, sauté the garlic and add the tomatoes and chopped basil to make a sauce.
  • While the sauce cooks for about half an hour, we put the pasta in boiling salted water and let it cook until al dente.
  • We are going to fry eggplant slices in sunflower oil until golden brown and set aside.
  • When the sauce is ready, add the pasta, salt to taste and stir to integrate the flavors.
  • Serve the pasta, adding the eggplants, ricotta cheese and fresh basil.
  • Let's enjoy this vegetarian dish, full of flavor and texture.
  • Preparación:

  • Para empezar, pelamos y cortamos los tomates en trozos medianos.
  • Luego, salteamos el ajo y agregamos los tomates y la albahaca picada para hacer una salsa.
  • Mientras la salsa se cocina por media hora aproximadamente, colocamos la pasta en agua hirviendo con sal y dejamos cocinar hasta que esté al dente.
  • Vamos a freír rodajas de berenjena en aceite de girasol hasta que doren y reservamos.
