¡Hola queridos amigos! Nos encontramos en la séptima semana del Festival de música folclórica venezolana, promovido por @vdc (Venezuelan Dtubers Community). En esta oportunidad les traigo parte del tema “El Cantar Tiene Sentido” Polo Margariteño, en la versión de la inigualable Soledad Bravo.

El polo es un ritmo musical típico del oriente. Se lo conoce a menudo como Polo margariteño, por su importancia en la isla de Margarita, se toca en un compás de tres cuartos o seis octavos con una variación de cuatro acordes, y se cantan versos que varían dependiendo de la canción. Normalmente se acompaña con cuatro y maracas.

Hello dear friends! We are in the seventh week of the Venezuelan Folk Music Festival, promoted by @vdc (Venezuelan Dtubers Community). In this opportunity I bring you part of the song "El Cantar Tiene Sentido" (Singing Makes Sense) Margarita’s Polo, in the version of the incomparable Soledad Bravo.

The polo is a typical musical rhythm from the east of venezuela. It is often known as Margarita’s Polo, due to its importance on Margarita Island. It is played in a three-quarter or six eighths measure with a four chord variation, verses vary depending on the song. It is normally accompanied by cuatro and maracas.
