¡Hola amigos!

Hi guys! I'm with you once again to share a craft tutorial with recycled materials. This time I am going to show you how to make a spice box with Pringles cans. Let's go step by step.

The materials we are going to need are: A large shoebox, 6 Pringles cans, liquid silicone, white glue, a paintbrush, ruler, scissors, paints, water-based varnish and magazine clippings.

We start by painting the cans in the color of our preference, in this case I used Red Wine, Lilac and Pale Pink that I had on hand. It is necessary to apply two coats of paint. After they dry well, we proceed to apply water-based varnish to achieve a shine that will make our containers stand out.

Next, we remove the shoebox lid with a pair of scissors. This, as well as the remaining flaps of the box, will be used later to create the dividers of our spice rack.

We are going to apply liquid silicone or white glue to the sides so that our box is well reinforced.

Cut out the lid and the side flaps to make the spice rack dividers. We will leave a high separator in the central part, to which we will make a handle. We measure with a ruler the size of our preference and then cut it out, either with scissors or a cutter.

We glue the large separator and the other smaller ones very well, placing cardboard reinforcements to ensure their stability. Once the separators are glued, the only thing left to do is to organize the containers with the spices inside.

Before placing the cans, we are going to decorate our box with some cutouts to cover the labels it may have.

And here we have the cans already varnished and dry. It's time to fill them with our favorite spices. I identified the type of spice with some names I made from magazine clippings.

We place the seasonings very carefully; I usually use Dehydrated broth, Cumin, Garlic powder, Color spice, Oregano, Adobo, among others in my meals. It is important to leave the tab on the can to prevent moisture from entering our spices.

Now, let's organize the spice rack, let’s place the containers inside and we will be able to have our favorite seasonings at hand in a practical way, giving a lot of flavor to our meals.

I must say that I really enjoyed this craft, besides I find this element very useful in the kitchen, I hope you liked it too; see you next time, thanks for your visit!
