Grayscale had the foresight early to realize that investors of all shapes and sizes individuals High net worth individuals family offices hedge funds pensions endowments, and now certainly corporations would want to have exposure to digital assets.

The Trust back to 2013 and worked with the SEC to help them understand every aspect of the products they offer, including the the risk factors, valuation etc., in order to get them comfortable. The Trust elected to become an SEC reporting company as part of holding themselves to the highest standards.

In 2020 more than 85% of the assests under management came from institutional investors. Many of those investors were hedge funds, but then they started seeing interest from public companies. And now the pension and endowment entities are showing interest.

In the past, the conversation with potential clients were Bitcoin 101 and also included regulatory considerations and they're being discomfort that there wasn't enough regulatory clarity. None of that is part of the conversation anymore. Today, conversations are about portfolio construction.

Back to March of 2020 when Covid-19 bought the equity and crypto markets to its knees, Investors were calling up trying to invest quickly and trying to take advantage of pullbacks. These are investors that are investing in the fund for a minimum of five to ten years.
