Leadership In A Decentralized Era

*It's about time we recalibrate our collective understanding of "leadership."

Starting off with the inspiration for this post & video...

It was a call to action.

I've never posted any video of myself on Steemit before. But, there have been numerous points of guidance at different times implying I may have something meaningful to share vocally, and it was here asked for.

Being the first of videos posted here - the first anywhere in several years - it's a bit nerve-wracking. But, perhaps stepping into any form of leadership might be at first.

There were things to say about this whole phenomenon of leadership that are different said than written. There are different forms of articulation that can come through sound.

So... here it is.

One man's take on leadership as it may be most needed in these times, inspired by the leadership of those who served us transition from the centralized disappointment of Steem into our own new decentralized Hive.

They set a precedent.

And here, now, on this truly decentralized platform free of censorship, we each have an opportunity to step up into our own leadership.

We need not tons of followers. Only to speak our truths, sharing from our hearts & souls.

Given we're at a turning point in human history where there may be a greater threat than ever of increasing centralization, may we each seize this opportunity to build upon our collective victories in this decentralization movement to extend the ripple effects of our influence here outward into the world to make the types of impact required for humanity to rise through the great challenges we face together.
