My grandparents need help - (SARS-COV-2) I need your help.

Como les habia comentado en el video, tengo el registro de todo el proceso que hemos tenido con mis abuelos estas dos semanas. Cabe destacar que para el ahorro de dinero, tuvimos la colaboración del Doctor Benedetto, Internista en Maturín, quién es colega de mi pareja @joalgusa, y pues a quien agradezco mucho por toda su colaboración en todo este trote.

As I had mentioned in the video, I have the record of the whole process that we have had with my grandparents these two weeks. A partir de aquí el médico les mando los siguientes medicamentos base, recomendando usar retrovirales endovenosos, pero por la situación económica, mandó una segunda opción que era en pastilla, mucho más económico que el remdesivir.

A pesar que se pudo comprar todo el tratamiento para las cinco personas (mi familia), mis abuelos especificamentes se vieron un poco complicado, pues como explicamos en el video, en el caso de mi abuela ella sufre de tensión baja (hipotensión) y el tratamiento la debilitó un poco, y en el caso de mi abuelo, por ser fumador y tener problemas de tensión alta (hipertensión), el tratamiento no fue efectivo, específicamente el retroviral, además que se ha complicado ya que la afección por covid se ha desarrollado mucho más. Lo que ha provocado que su saturación baje.

Although we were able to buy all the treatment for the five people (my family), my grandparents specifically were a little complicated, because as we explained in the video, in the case of my grandmother she suffers from low blood pressure (hypotension) and the treatment weakened her a little, and in the case of my grandfather, being a smoker and having problems with high blood pressure (hypertension), the treatment was not effective, specifically the retroviral, and it has become more complicated since the covid condition has developed much more. This has caused his saturation to drop.

Como dijo @joalgusa la saturación de una persona sana debe estar entre 97 a 100, por debajo de 95, la persona está teniendo un cuadro de hipoxia, que es lo que ha estado presentando mi abuelo, dificultad para respirar, respiración agitada y cansancio.

Debido a todo esto, el médico decide enviar un tratamiento un poco más agresivo al anterior, dado que los resultados de sangre de mi abuelo salieron muy alterados, dando a entender que el covid estaba avanzando y que ameritaba un retroviral más fuerte acompañado de otro tipo de antibiótico.

Because of all this, the doctor decided to send a slightly more aggressive treatment to the previous one, since my grandfather's blood results were very altered, suggesting that the covid was progressing and deserved a stronger retroviral accompanied by another type of antibiotic.

Sinceramente esta es una situación bastante fuerte, muy triste, sobre todo para personas de bajo recurso como mi familia.

Honestly, this is a very strong situation, very sad, especially for low-income people like my family.

Personalmente perdí a mi abuela materna por una situación un poco parecida, y la verdad no quiero dejar de intentar salvarle la vida a alguien mientras yo pueda hacer algo, mucho menos si es de mi familia.

I personally lost my maternal grandmother to a somewhat similar situation, and I really don't want to stop trying to save someone's life as long as I can do something about it, much less if it's my family.

No puedo ir en contra de la parte económica, eso es una cruda verdad que nos ahoga a todos los Venezolanos, y sobre todo a las familias que están atravesando por esta difícil situación de pandemia.

I cannot go against the economic part, that is a crude truth that suffocates all Venezuelans, and especially the families that are going through this difficult pandemic situation.

Yo lo he meditado todas estas últimas noches, en búsqueda de hacer las cosas correctas, porque he descuidado también mi salud. Entendí que debo pedir ayuda y que no puedo cargar con todo el peso encima, es por ello que decidí compartir con todos ustedes mi situación actual, y pedir con el corazón en la mano una ayuda.

I have meditated on it all these last nights, in search of doing the right things, because I have neglected my health as well. I understood that I must ask for help and that I cannot carry all the weight on me, that is why I decided to share with all of you my current situation, and ask with my heart in my hand for help.

A mi se me parte el alma verlos así en esa situación, pero agradezco también a mi novio @joalgusa, por su bondad, por su humildad, por ser una persona tan humanitaria. Sabiendo que este es su trabajo y hacerlo gratis por decisión propia es algo que me llena de orgullo, sin embargo, necesitamos más que solo nuestra voluntad, necesitamos la ayuda de ustedes.

It breaks my heart to see them in that situation, but I also thank my boyfriend @joalgusa, for his kindness, for his humility, for being such a humanitarian person. Knowing that this is his job and doing it for free by his own decision is something that fills me with pride, however, we need more than just our will, we need your help.

Hoy gracias a Dios sacrificó sin importar el pago de alquiler y demás servicios para comprar parte del tratamiento de mi abuelo que cada día es costoso. Hoy por lo menos hemos ganado el día, pero esta enfermedad es de mucho más días, muchos más gastos, cuidados y sobre todo requiere de mucho apoyo.

Today thank God I sacrificed regardless of the payment of rent and other services to buy part of my grandfather's treatment that every day is expensive. Today at least we have won the day, but this disease is much more days, many more expenses, care and above all requires a lot of support.
