    About :

With THIS reupload, I have now archived ALL of the Punktronic Pirate Radio Podcasts on #3Speak as still image videos! I'd like to thank root beer for always being there for me, donuts for getting me going in the morning, and of course the lovely folks at COFFEE for those horrible headaches I get if I don't drink enough! WE DID IT, TOGETHER!!! We now return you to an old radio episode that you probably didn't hear the first time around! Ha!!! ---RFY

“Punktronic Disco Dirge (Pirate Radio) #006!” by Richard F. Yates (Holy Fool)

Hey folks!!! Back with another stack of WAX (digital wax, at least…metaphorical, you know)! I was apparently in a more Industrial / EBM mood today, as opposed to last week, when I was feeling all punky! Hopefully, this isn’t too much of a change---but if it is, sorry, but it’s my radio show, and I’m happy with these cuts! Again, it’s VERY difficult to narrow down the playlist to just ONE HOUR, but that’s what I’m trying to do. I admit that today’s was nearly going to be a two hour special---but my wife came home before I could finish, so I just clipped it at an hour…

Yep. I could honestly sit and play tunes for HOURS, but I’m also having fun talking about them, so hopefully that element of the program isn’t too annoying. (Again, see above, if you think it IS annoying. I’m going to keep doing it because I’m having fun!) Speaking of FUN! Here’s the tunes…

    Punktronic Disco Dirge 006
(Approx. 1 hour and 8 minutes of rivet inducing stompitude (plus some other stuff…))

    [Intro and pleasant trees…]

Individual Totem – “Enlighten Me” from Electrostatic (2018)
Thompson Twins – “Who Want to Be a Millionaire?” from Red Hot + Blue: A Tribute to Cole Porter (1990)
The Giraffes – “Lonely Chicken” from 13 Other Dimensions (1998)
Phil Harris – “The Thing” from The Best of (2011) (orig. released in 1950!!!)

[Talking about stuff---VERY informational. You’ll be thrilled.]

45 Grave – “Evil” from Sleep in Safety (1983)
Death – “Politicians in My Eyes” from …For the Whole World to See (2009) (orig. released in 1974)
Rx vs Alien Sound – “KY Re:amin” from Dr. Speedlove Presents - Chemical Warfare (Mix Mix Bang Bang) (2000) (orig. version released in 1998)

[Wisdom (amongst other things) comes gushing at you. Sorry. But not sorry.]

Filter – “Dose (The Morning After)” from Dose single (1995)
Prince – “Pope” from The Hits 2 (1993)
And One – “Dancing in the Factory” from Metropolis Records Sampler (2011)
Implant – “Joe is Dead” from The Productive Citizen (2013)

[More chattering (like a sick racoon), and then a sign-off! Two more songs to go!]

Liam Lynch – “We’re All Nighters” from Songs from Lynchland, Vol. 1 (2006)
Bauhaus – “Crowds” from Crackle (1998) (orig. released in 1980)

And DARN, that’s the end… (MORE TO COME PRETTY SOON!!! Hopefully, even sooner than THAT!)
