Hive Open Mic Week #127 ‘Tevazu’ | Stand By Me - Ben E. King (Instrumental Jammin’) 🎧 [ENG/ESP]

[ENG] Happy Friday, music people! This week I am accompanied by my good friend and neighbor Eduardo, who is also part of the Hive community with the username @eduardorpc, he helped me choose the song for the theme 'Tevazu' and it seemed like a poetic option, since modesty is required to ask a person to stand by our side.

The keyboard is one of the instruments that I have the least command of, however, I find it versatile, and this time I use it to create the melody and, in addition, it has the option of playing various percussion rhythms, a very useful tool for keeping the tempo. The guitar is tuned down one tone, so it was easier for me to improvise melodies with the black keys of the keyboard while Eduardo did the rhythmic part of the song with chords and arpeggios. It's a semi-improvisation, as I combined the classic melody of the song with some surprise phrases that occurred to me at the time.

¡Feliz viernes, gente de música! Esta semana me acompaña el buen amigo y vecino Eduardo, que también forma parte de la comunidad de Hive con el nombre de usuario @eduardorpc, él me ayudó a elegir la canción para el tema ‘Tevazu’ y me pareció una opción poética, ya que se requiere humildad para pedirle a una persona que se quede a nuestro lado.

El teclado es uno de los instrumentos que menos domino, sin embargo, me parece versátil, y en esta oportunidad lo utilizo para crear la melodía y, además, tiene la opción de reproducir varios ritmos de percusión, herramienta muy útil para mantener el tempo. La guitarra está afinada un tono abajo, así fue para mí más sencillo improvisar melodías con las teclas negras del teclado mientras que Eduardo hizo la parte rítmica de la canción con acordes y arpegios. Es una semi-improvisación, ya que combiné la melodía clásica de la canción con algunas frases sorpresa que se me ocurrieron en el momento.
