    Debido a que mi déficit calórico era mayor a la ingesta de hidratos de carbonos no podía seguir corriendo a mi gusto. Fue una decisión difícil dejarlo por un tiempo. Ya llevo tres semanas sin correr. Mi entrenadora Lilian Arias, mis compañeros llevaban meses diciendo lo mismo. Solo cuando vi que de verdad estaba famélico dejé de correr.

    Because my caloric deficit was greater than my carbohydrate intake I could no longer run to my heart's content. It was a difficult decision to stop for a while. I haven't run for three weeks now. My trainer Lilian Arias, my colleagues had been saying the same thing for months. It was only when I saw that I was starving that I stopped running.

    A caloric deficit is a shortage in the number of calories consumed about those needed to maintain the current weight. This is good for overweight people and their goal is to oxygenate the fat from their bodies. Mine is the opposite, to gain muscle and weight.

Los burpees son ejercicios completos en los que se trabaja desde el core hasta los bíceps, pecho, tríceps e incluso los cuádriceps. Por cada burpee se puede quemar unas 10 kcal, otro de sus beneficios es la mejora de la resistencia pulmonar y cardiaca.
