Should You Do Palm Strike Without Any Training?

In one of my previous videos, I talked about punch and palm strike and how effective it is to do palm strikes in some situations. You cannot hit on somewhere with punches, but you can do that easily with palm strikes.

When you fight for self-defense, you are not going to wear gloves at that time, so you have to fight with bare hands. There is a chance to fracture your knuckles while doing punches. Since palm strike is very effective, should you do palm strikes without any training? I suggest you not to do that. It will do more harm than good. You might end up breaking your fingers.
