Are You Doing Something Based On Social Expectations and Peer Pressure?

We live in a society. We are directly or indirectly influenced by social expectations and peer pressure. For example, if you get a government job, that's great. It is as if you are successful in life.

But maybe you want to do something else. That's not your goal what you get from peer pressure and social expectations. Sometimes we do things only because it is assured as a great thing in society. At some point in your life, you might get disappointed. So do things that you like. It does not matter how other people see that. It means a lot to you.
