About :
I got the first stage of my irrigation system set up on Monday - a simple 12 volt submerisble pump from my well up to two IBCs.
Total vertical lift of around 5 metres, going through 50 metres of tube.
Flow rate = around 300 litres an hour which is fine!
From the IBCs I can drip-irrigate my trees using gravity. No more buckets!
AND this is a nice emergency buffer incase my well goes dry over summer.
