The stage of Explaining HIVE to someone, who have no idea about Blockchain.....

Have you ever been through an odd situation, where you were explaining sth important related to Hive/Steem to someone close to you?

For me, it is a yes. In fact not only once but more than once.

It starts somehow like this, when you say there is a platform where you can share your ideas with everyone in terms of blog/vlog and get paid for that (well, eventually at some point). And the often reactions that comes from the opposite side is somehow like "WHAAAAAAAT", "Are you KIDIIIIING ME" etc etc.

But once you describe all the basics, that charm starts to fade away at some point. But ideally, some people who takes it for granted and wants to try their way out in here knows what they are getting into and so far some of the users have made it possible to try this platform and build their way up the ladder.

I suppose, the theme of getting incentives for your time in terms of content creation is still new for many people, especially for normal people like us they do not believe that everyone can get their content monetized , if only they want to.

I suppose just like the idea of YOUTUBE, where video creators getting paid, people are slowly believing that and coming into here, likewise people will get attracted to this sort of platform in the future in a greater mass. I suppose it will require much more time and effort to understand the basics and the ideology of decentralized web platforms.

But sooner than later that revolution will happen, in mass. And that is just a matter of time.
