Today's video idea came from the Click Track Profit 3 Steps to Success box on the home page. I always read the 3 Steps to Success and usually do at least 2 of them. Today the first one caught my eye.
I had no idea what MindMeister was but I need focus so I checked it out. MindMeister is a program that lets you draw mind maps. I love mind maps but I rarely if ever draw my own. One purpose of a mind map is to take a jumble of ideas and organize them. A mind map is a living document that changes frequently, especially in the beginning. Because they can change so much, drawing them on paper makes it a pain to keep them up-to-date.
MindMeister makes it very easy to change; and therefore, keep up-to-date. It also allows you to collaborate with friends. If you have never had the experience of brainstorming with a group of friends, you need to try it. It is not only fun but the number of ideas that come out is amazing.
MindMeister allows you to get your thoughts down quickly and then come back later expand on the ones you like, delete the ones you don't and rearrange them in anyway you want so they make sense. In a very short time, you have a plan for whatever project you want.
Normally I would wait until I was more familiar with a program before tell anyone about it, but MindMeister was so intuitive and I liked it so much I couldn't wait.
The video will give you a very high level view of MindMeister. I will do another after I have done a few mind maps. I would highly recommend you try it and see how much creating your own mind maps can help you with any project. It is free, of course there are upgrades, but the free version allows you to create mind maps on your own or with friends. Check it out here MindMeister.com
Until Tomorrow,
