Needlework monday:crochet a flower coaster and pot

Hi again ☺️!!How you all are doing?If I talk about myself I had my papers a week ago and now that I am over with them I am crocheting different things.Honestly crochet is becoming my new hobby.And I think it is better to crochet than to see phone (actually alot better).Last week I posted the flower bouquet and alot of people liked it.so here I am again with something a bit (I would say)similar but phenomenal.I am going to fill my house with these handmade bouquets and beautiful things.Everybody in my house is also liking it very much.

materials required

1-yarn 🧶of five different colors
2-crochet hook 🪝
3-polyseter
4- scissors ✂️

*The process *

For coasters

R1-MGR,ch1,9sc
R2-ch1,hdc in each st
R3-ch1,1hdc,and inc (2hdc in every second st)
R4-ch1,2hdc and an inc
R5-ch1-3hdc and an inc
Note:-if you want bigger size base you can follow the same pattern

For sepals

Take the green yarn and make a slip st on the base part with it.
Now you just have to make ch3 and slip st on the base.Till you reach the end.

NOW to attach the flowers to coaster.you have to make 5 spaces in every green st you just made above.
For that.
Make a slip st in green space and ch3.Then slip st to st it with the border.
Then 3 hdc and at last ch3 to make 5 spaces.
Follow this pattern till end.

Flowers

For flowers you have to make its petals in five spaces to complete one flower.

1 one space you have to ch3 then 3 dc and follow the same pattern till end.

Then for flower petals you have to make 3 chains and 1dc and then 3 chains and slip st above each petal.and at last you should have 5 sepals and 5 petals

This is all for coaster.And the coaster is complete.Have a look at how it turned out.

POT

For pot you just need to follow the same Instruction as the coaster base till you have 6 rows of it.After it the game changes a bit.

To give it a pot shape you have to hdc in only outer loop of the stich.once you do it you will get a part of pot outwards.after it you have to hdc in each stitch till row 4.(you can do according to the height of pot you want.

Then then 5 rows make hdc in the outer loop of each st.and the pot is complete.

For the cover of pot follow the same pattern as flower coaster.

Stitch it with the base part and stuff it with polyester before closing.

Now everything is ready.put flowers on the pot and everything is done.

That was all about it.
