(Video edited in capcut)Hello!everyone I hope you all are doing good a enjoying great mental health. My keychain series continues and here I am with my new keychain idea. This is the idea that I have been denying for so long. Not because it is not cute but because alot of people have already have uploaded the tutorial on this. Take a guess. It's an octopus π which is very cute and to make it distinct I have added details that makes it even more cute and beautiful.
The things required to make these keychains are pretty basic. It includes yarn of 4 colors, crochet hook, a needle, and scissors. And the pattern follows doing 6sc in mgR and then inc upto the size you need and then decreasing at the end.
At first I decided to make only one using this green yarn. So i bought this yarn 3 4 months ago and never made anything out of it. Every time I decide to use this another color pop up in my mind that kept me far from this color. So this time I made sure to make use of this. When I made this I thought I should make two so that they may look prettier in pictures. So I took pink yarn and started making another one. But there was a difference between these two yarn. The green is 4 ply yarn and pink one is 3 ply so I have used crochet hooks accordingly. I completed the green one and i wanted to make these two of exactly same size. But given there size it was difficult but I tried my best. The green would have bigger but I made the pink one larger. But they were looking cute at the end.
When I was making the pink one I used a yellow yarn as a stitch marker. And the pink and yellow were looking very good together. So I decided to add a little bow on the head of pink octopus. When the head was complete I added a bow on the head which was looking very cute. For the tentacles of octopus I am not a fan of large tentacles they just don't give the vibe so I decided to add little tentacles at the base. I think that look more cute. Then I added eyes to both octopuses. For the eyes I used a very small needle because when I use the big needle it always pull the polyester outside making the amugrumi very rough. So I used this very thin needle to keep my octopus neat and clean. And to match the needle hole size I used the yarn but removes two thread out of it. If you understand what I mean. Anyways the eyes came out very clean.
I added keyring for the last step. Then it was complete. The weather is very cold nowadays so stepping out of my bed for the photoshoot was a difficult task but I managed somehow. I went outside and did the photoshoot. Here are some final pictures.
I hope you like them. Don't forget to add your suggestions in the comments below.
Take care π π.
See you again π π.
Till them bye bye π.
