Mis queridos amigos cinefilos de hive.

Quería presentarles esta historia de la vida real que fue llevada al cine. Ella nos deja un mensaje, aunque su desarrollo tuvo como escenario la guerra que se desarrolló después del ataque a Pearl Harbor en 1941.

Me apasionan las películas de acción y que tengan contenido.

La película que les recomiendo se llama "Hasta el último hombre" y cuenta la historia de un ciudadano norteamericano que se negó a tomar un fusil para matar a otro ser humano.

Una familia creyente en Dios. Adventista del séptimo día. Una familia donde el padre (Hall Doss) después de regresar de la guerra, llegó cambiado, con dolor por la pérdida de sus mejores amigos en batalla, con frustraciones, llegó a aferrarse al licor y dentro de la sociedad machista, tuvo episodios de violencia familiar, hasta que hubo un hecho que marcó la relación, Desmon Doss (el hijo) lo confronto cuando su padre tenía un arma de fuego en las manos.

Pero antes de seguir contándoles, les digo que Desmon en su niñes, fue un niño un tanto violento hasta que en una pelea casi mata al hermano, lo que produjo en el un cambio repentino al ver que casi rompía el sexto mandamiento "no matarás"

Al darse el ataque a Pearl Habor, como todo joven vio que sus amigos se enrrolaron en el ejército y al enlistarse él, lo hizo con la intención de ayudar de alguna manera, quería hacerlo como médico.

La cosa es que no le fue bien, humillado, golpeado y llevado a la Corte marcial militar por desacato al no agarrar un fusil. Tratado como un cobarde.

Para sacarlo del ejército de baja, fue enviado al psiquiatra, donde mantuvo su posición y creencia.

Por más que le hicieron la vida a cuadros para que renunciara, nunca lo hizo...

Llevado a juicio en corte marcial tenía dos opciones, o se declaraba culpable y salía con baja deshonrosa o iba a prisión. Se declaró inocente manteniendo en pie su firme convicción, ganó el juicio con la intervención del padre, quien fue condecorado dos veces en batalla, y que fue a hablar con un general con quien estuvo en campo de guerra.

Desmon fue al campo de batalla en Okinawa en 1945, sin un arma y como médico. Fue herido, pero no sin antes lograr salvar 75 vidas en un día, que el solo recogió del campo de batalla, cuando no había ninguno de sus compañeros. Cada vez que salvaba uno, sólo pedía a Dios que "uno mas".

A modo de análisis

Más allá de lo que el cine magnifique y por sobre la fuerte creencia religiosa, lo que demuestra Desmon Doss en sus convicciones firmes, es la fuerte voluntad por aportar desde sus principios, lo que consideró podía hacer para salvar vidas, siendo indudablemente su creencia en Dios lo que le dio fuerza para ello. Nunca busco engañarse ni engañar a nadie.

I wanted to introduce you to this real life story that was made into a movie. It leaves us with a message, even though it was set during the war that took place after the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941.

I am passionate about action movies and movies with content.

The movie I recommend is called "Until the Last Man" and tells the story of an American citizen who refused to take a gun to kill another human being.

A family believing in God. Seventh-day Adventist. A family where the father (Hall Doss) after returning from the war, came changed, with pain for the loss of his best friends in battle, with frustrations, came to cling to liquor and within the macho society, had episodes of family violence, until there was an event that marked the relationship, Desmon Doss (the son) confronted him when his father had a gun in his hands.

But before I go on telling you, I tell you that Desmon in his childhood, was a somewhat violent child until in a fight he almost killed his brother, which produced in him a sudden change when he saw that he almost broke the sixth commandment "thou shalt not kill."

When the attack on Pearl Habor occurred, like every young man he saw his friends enlist in the army and when he enlisted, he did so with the intention of helping in some way, he wanted to do it as a doctor.

The thing is, it didn't go well for him, humiliated, beaten and taken to military court martial for contempt for not grabbing a rifle. Treated like a coward.

To get him out of the discharge army, he was sent to a psychiatrist, where he maintained his position and belief.

No matter how much they made his life checkered for him to resign, he never did....

Brought to trial by court-martial he had two choices, either plead guilty and get out with a dishonorable discharge or go to prison. He pleaded not guilty standing by his firm conviction, he won the trial with the intervention of the father, who was decorated twice in battle, and who went to talk to a general with whom he was in the war field.

Desmon went to the battlefield in Okinawa in 1945, without a weapon and as a medic. He was wounded, but not before managing to save 75 lives in one day, which he single-handedly picked up from the battlefield, when none of his comrades were there. Every time he saved one, he just prayed to God for "one more."

By way of analysis

Beyond what the movies magnify and above the strong religious belief, what Desmon Doss demonstrates in his firm convictions, is the strong will to contribute from his principles, what he considered he could do to save lives, being undoubtedly his belief in God what gave him strength to do so. He never sought to deceive himself or to deceive anyone.
