Here we call it vermicelli which are the noodles by their nature. In our native language Kannada we call it as Shavige which is used to Cooke sweets and as well as snacks which can be had at breakfast time.
This goes so similar to Upma except, tomatoes. Yes in Upma, we use tomatoes and in Shavigebath we dont use tomatoes. Instead we use lemon juice.
