[Polessins' Gameplay] Tropico 4 Modern Times Mission #10

Hello Gamers !

Today im bringing a game play of one of my favorites games.

i do enjoy strategy simulation games, and tropico 4 is one of the awesome ones.

i found out tropico 4 had an expansion pack called Modern times. I had already finished all tropico series games, but i have missed this one.

unfortunately the game its almost comming to an end.

I'll bring the gameplay of the last three missions of the campaign.

This is Mission 10/12 gameplay.

I failed twice in this mission before geting it done. i tried to fix my mistakes on the second try, but the stage seems to change its missions everytime, and i ended up building a lot of stuff i was forced to demolish after. Well i got screwed.

But on my third try things went pretty smooth. Luckly on the final mission i had still enough money to accomplish it.

In this Cenario, we are trying to build the bigges telecom island ever seen. Why ?

To Spread Communism around !

In one of the preview stages, i had to make a full communist island. I realized all the educated citizens was lefting the island, pretty creepy.

but let's get back to the mission...

The map was pretty bad for any kind of plantations, so i had to go far to start it. I always go for the pineapples, since they feed my population and can be used on the Cannery industrie to produce canned pineapple, which gives a good profit.

Coffe is also great, since i can also turn it into canned coffe, and sell for a better price. My people don't consume any coffe, so it won't help with my population needsm which is bad. But with money i can solve all other problems. so its good.

I don't even know if the game bugged at this point, but i have never seen so many tornados at the same time. I thought the mission was gone by now, still i decided to rebuild everything and continue, hoping for the best. I had almost 60% of the people loving me, so i could not left then behind. I didn't knew a Tsunami would also hit me few time later. Gladly most of the victims were rebels. Karma !

Something that is unique in this game, is how they talk about communism. This guy made me build the most capitalist island you can imagine. After geting rich, he simply say capitalism is trash, roflol.
The kind of dialogues sometimes reminds me of The Monkey Island series, it's hilarious. The kind of stuff they ask you, and the reasons, are completely out of this world. I always crack a smile when reading this things. I am now building a lot of radio stations, what the hell is comming ahead...

but things were fine, funny.. and fine.
