Today let's get through Tropico 4 Modern times Mission 11-12

These missions are geting harder and harder. As it should be i suppose..

Mission 11 - Before The Storm

Now one of our worst nightmares is back. Dr Steinchneider. This guy is a mad cientist who has been trying to screw with our tropico for a long time. I Hope we can eliminate him today.

Well, somehow he mind controlled the conclave, and we must hurry to gather enough resources and allies to be prepared for the final battle ahead.

Seems like our strategy is to recover some of our old allies. We will start with USSR, by sending them some RUM. So far everything seems ok. I will just set some Sugar Crops and a Rum distillery to build up my economy slowly and stead. Making some pineapples and a canary will be great, that will ensure my economy skyrocket. With 2 industries running, i could beat up pretty much all stages.

But...

Okay, cannary plan aborted. Time to rush with the rum production. To do it so, i had to focus all my resources in my economy, leaving aside most of my population primary needs. I managed to finish the delivery first then the conclave, but this left some really scars. The rebel manace will surely become a problem ahead.

With my population almost trying to kill me, i decided to give them a little help. a Cathedral, a Hospital, a Movie teather and some good housing would be enough to calm them down before the strikes begin...

But...

Another rush mission is on..
Now all the resources i have gathered will be spent into this import goods deal. I decided to follow her tip and went for the Bauxite / iron import. Guess i am now building cars... My people barely have something to eat.. lol.

We did it. We imported all the good before the conclave, the car business pretty much paid for imported goods. Now again i have to something before the conclave. I really hate this kind of timed missions, it mess up with my development process =[. But okay, time to gather some money and build up some energy. To produce 1000mW i will need at least 3 solar power plants, with at least 2 of them full upgraded. Damm.

One upgrade away from finishing the mission, i decided to farm a little bit more cash and fix some of my population needs. I was kinda afraid of the upcomming mission, and i didn't want to start it before being more stable. After upgrading some buildings i already decided to advance so the video wasn't bigger then it was already being. let's hope everything go fine.

Now we gotta build a Space Program. We must do it before 60 months, otherwise the conclave will finish first and the publicity will stay with them. I just can't fail the mission now, i should have waited a little more to advance to this mission.... at this point my island was kinda big and expensive to maintain. It was not fast to gather all the needed money for the building..

Man this mission just keeps on and on... I was pretty much exausted at this point, and had to build a new industry, Electronics. All this so i could send a total of 2000 itens into space. At least this mission was not timed. So i could take a breath and build it without any pressure, much cooler. After delivering without a problem, i was requested to Provide Freedom and Liberty to all Nations. You must be wondering how i did it...

Conclusion and Gameplay

This was some very hard mission to accomplish. The time running kinda confuses me, and i end loosing myself into the wrong objectives. Lucky i was able to finish the mission. Failling it would make me probably take a few weeks break before trying again, lol. I really hate this kind of missions.

Video is a bit long, but its kinda fun to see the whole thing going on, i even got hit by a tsunami at some point. Rebels attack and protest went all along with me during the mission, this was a hard one.
