Hello Gamers ! Have you ever played Brawhalla ??

I have seen this game around since 2017, and for some reason i never gave it a chance.

After 5 years, i ended up watching some videos and this time it actually got my attention.

Since the game is free 2 play, i decided to give it a chance.

Let me briefly introduce you to the game and show you a few things i really enjoyed about it.

The Game

This is a 2D fighting plataform game, just like the famous Super Smash Bros, But here, things are much faster. Each character has 2 weapons, which will appear randomly anywhere in the plattaform, aside with a few gadgets, like bombs, Thorn balls and proximity mines. You must be fast to get your weapon and start dealing damage to your enemy. To win the match you must throw your enemy out of the plattaform. You win after you finish with all your opponents life.

A generous Character Variety will bring you more then 50 option to choose ! Each of them will have 2 different weapons, and its own signature moves. They also have different stats each one. Stats are for light attack power, heavy attack power, speed and defense. You will have to choose the character that best suits you. I Can say this is will be a very hard mission, i still haven't decided my favorite one. Sometimes im pretty sure i think i found the ONE, but i will always end up finding another hero which will grab my attention, due to his signature moves, or weapon combinations. So far i think i find Gloves and Bow the best. These itens are very newb friendly and will help you grab your first victories in ranked matches.

Easy to Play, Hard to master. This is what makes you to continue playing it. Feels really simple all controls, there are no secret or special attacks you will need to learn and decorate. All movements are pretty much the same for every character. What is awesome in this game is that the combos are incredibly fun and unpredictable. Characters will bounce into walls, on the roof and on the floor of the map. Skilled players will land combos in these maps you can't even imagine it would be possible. You can mix your weapons attacks with bare hands attack, while trowing your weapon into your enemy face. Dodging seems to be the most important aspect in this game, and once you master it, you will definitely start climbing your ranks. High level players in this game can pretty much read all your moves before you do them, and this is what makes them PROs. It's scary the way i got beat up a few times in this game.

2vs2 seems incredible in this game. You will want to get your best gaming friend, and tag aside with him. Battles in 2vs2 are completely different. Here you can create more advanced combos, and will have to dodge twice as normal, well three times more then normal, since your friend can also hit you. Landing combos with your tag feel incredible. So far i have played some single matches with friends, but couldn't develop any official partner yet, and you will need one ! Games are much funnier playing aside with a friend. Cheering for those heavy combos seems delightfull. There is also a Free for All and 3vs3 matches, but these are just a complete BRAWL ! i'd rather be playing 1vs1 and 2vs2. You can also create custom rooms !

This game has one of the sickest Crossovers i have ever seen. You will find characters from movies, games, tv shows, cartoons and much more. I got no problem with this, since in a fighting game all these characters make sense. You really want to see a fight between Ninja turtles and and walking dead survivors.... right ? With all these character the game have more then 70 options to choose, which i think its amazing in this kind of games. Helps to get it balanced, and are much more difficult to appear THAT ONE character that everyone will be playing. Even if this happen, would be much easier to identify it and maybe balance that unit. Still, i think there are some very funny character they added, and i am willing to play them all!

Updates ands weekly news are very important in any game. This will help you comeback every time to see whats going on. I can see they have a special brawl that changes every week, just some random events that seem to happen frequently. I've been playing this for a week i guess, and i have seen so much news of upgrades, new characters and much, that makes me think the game is still going for a reason. Players loves it.

Microtransactions are here. The way and how it should be on every game. You can buy your favorite character skins, K.O Effects, Podiums, emotes and MUCH MORE. All of this won't give you any advantage in game, which is perfect. Since the game is free, players should get that item they love, or maybe his favorite characters skins ! This will help the to game keep evolving, and also give you character that awesome look ! You can buy pretty much all characters in the game by gathering money while playing. I already bought 2 characters i like, Zariel and Wu Shang, both gauntlet units. Daily quests and matches will get you quickly the with ammount needed to buy your first favorite champ ! Every week they will also give you 9 random characters to play. So this way you can try them all before buying your own.

Gameplay and Conclusion

I will let you see for yourself some low ranked battles i am currently going through. You should also check for some videos of pro players, this will give you a different point of view, its good cause you can see how the game scales.

I used one of my favorites characters, and i managed to kick some ass. Got beaten up hardly too a few times.

Well, the game is awesome, and i will definitely be playing around, seeking for my perfect tag, to rule all those plataforms.
