Weekends are usually for hiking, and because of the pandemic, it has been a while since Red and I have actually traveled. This video is really a compilation of clips from several hikes we've made this past years.
We went to Sagada Mountain Province, and survived the three levels of spelunking inside Sumaging Cave. I love how foggy our trip to Mt. Apayang was in Nasugbu, Batangas. The trip to the summit of Mt. Batolusong had been the most scorching. One of the scariest climb we did was at Nagpatong Rock Formation in Tanay Rizal. One clip shows me holding for my dear life on the side of the mountain. What you do not see on the video is that I am actually holding on a rope that supports my entire body, and right below me is several thousands of feet. That's literally hanging on a cliff. We also rappelled our way to the top most part of Tungtong Falls, and jumped off its waterfalls.
Rain will not stop us from going to the top of the mountain. In Mount Romelo, we went hiking the entire time under the rain, which made the trail muddy. I think some of us slid several times, our shoes were all heavy with mud.
Buruwisan Falls in Siniloan, Laguna has the coldest waters and yet that did not stop us from swimming the freezing water. Finally, Mt. Batulao, the trip to its summit is scary, muddy, and difficult to climb, but once you're at its summit you'll find the clouds to be just amazing!
Making this video made me miss the many friends we've met whenever we hike. I hope all of them are safe, and healthy. And, we hope to travel with them again soon.
That's it! Thank you for watching the video. Stay safe, friends.
