    About :

Wednesday is an interesting day as it's in the middle of the working week... It can be stressful as it's not at the beginning, and there is still 2-3 days until the weekend... To release me (and others) from that, I would try to make a bit "easier" vlogs for this day...

It was a perfect day when I was recording this video... I know that wind is ruined a bit the atmosphere, but I hope that it will not annoy you during the video... It was a bit cloudy, very peaceful, and pleasant with that refreshing wind... I know that a lot of people can't enjoy these small pleasures, of a nice walk in nature, far away from city traffic and noise... Reminding myself about that, I'm feeling grateful that I can and I'm sending you a bit of these relaxing vibes...

As I wanted to talk about something "easier" today, the first thing that got on my mind is the popular saying of "stepping out of the comfort zone"... Yes, it can be stressful, but it is very rewarding in the long-term... But, besides these BIG steeping out, we are doing some small steps during the journey... Sometimes we don't even recognize them as we are occupied with bigger things, but they are there... Moving us a bit forward...

One of these small steps for me was the recent changes that @nathanmars made in his (our) #HIVETwitter movement... If you are not familiar, Nathan came up with a great idea of doing #hive5 on Twitter, where participants would tag 5 people and send virtual high fives to them... It was a genius marketing move... It made Hive people closer, and I have met a couple of new friends there...

And then, Nathan decided to change the rules... He recommended to participants to name only ONE person in a tweet and send some message to it... That sounded frightening to me as I'm still a big introvert type of person, and I'm not good at that kind of communication... At first sight, I was a bit "scared" and almost quit my involvement... I started to make excuses for myself, and that was the moment when I decided that it was the "easy button" of going back to "old me"...

I have created the first tweet with new rules, second, third... And the effects were even better than before (with 5 names "rule")... People are respecting, even more, one on one approach, and it's a great feeling to share gratitude with another person...

Don't forget to check out the video...

Thank you for your valuable time,

    ~ph~
