Hive Open Mic Wk#101: My Favourite Things/Mis cosas favoritas de Julie Andrews–(Cover)@Peaq(ENG-ESP)

Have you ever been down and in a state of sadness and there are just things or people that bring joy and gladness to your heart whenever you see them? These things or people can be said to be your favourites in the world.

I like that the theme for this week bothers around the freedom to express ourselves in whatever way, shape, and form we choose to. While pondering on a suitable song for this theme, I kept thinking of a song from a musical movie.

Without a doubt, I choose “My Favourite Things” from the movie “Sound of Music”. I wanted to do a medley and pair up a number of the songs with a creative twist but I will save that for another day.

Another reason why I chose this song is because of the nostalgic feeling it gives me about my childhood and a deeper sense of appreciation for a film this timeless.

In line with the theme Freedom of Expression, I decided to play around with my expressions of the song and have fun while doing it. Without wasting much time, let’s dive right into the video. As always, thank you for tuning in and being a part of my journey!

Alguna vez has estado decaído y en un estado de tristeza y simplemente hay cosas o personas que te traen alegría y gozo al corazón cada vez que las ves? Estas cosas o personas se puede decir que son tus favoritas en el mundo.

Me gusta que el tema de esta semana gire en torno a la libertad de expresarnos de cualquier manera, forma y modo que elijamos. Mientras reflexionaba sobre una canción adecuada para este tema, no dejaba de pensar en una canción de una película musical.

Sin duda, elegí "Mis cosas favoritas " de la película "Sonrisas y lágrimas ". Quería hacer un popurrí y combinar varias canciones con un toque creativo, pero lo dejaré para otro día.

Otra de las razones por las que he elegido esta canción es por la sensación de nostalgia que me produce respecto a mi infancia y un mayor aprecio por una película tan atemporal.

En consonancia con el tema Libertad de expresión, he decidido jugar con mis expresiones de la canción y divertirme mientras lo hago. Sin perder mucho tiempo, pasemos directamente al vídeo. Como siempre, ¡gracias por sintonizar y ser parte de mi viaje!
