La Voz Cantante || Wk #11- Here's To Us By Halestorm -- Acapella Cover de @Peaq (ENG-ESP)

Hello Puku Fam!
I have been so sick this week but I have managed to pull myself out of bed and participate in this week's “The Singing Voice”. It brings me so much joy to always be a part of this each week as the Rock genre of music is a genre I was scared to explore before now.

I used to think my voice texture would not suit it or pretty much not carry the energy but you all have shown me that I was totally wrong and I have you to thank for that. I was in my shell and thought I could not do it. I took the leap of faith and my very first Puku entry here was welcomed with massive love.

For this week 11’s rock theme song selection for “The Singing Voice”, I will be singing one of the beautiful rock songs from Glee titled “Here’s To Us” by the amazing “Halestorm’s Lzzy Hale”. It is that song that!

Hale explained that it was a personal anthem stating that her band had been through so much together and they had to learn how to celebrate both the good and the bad times. She stated that it was about toughing it out and respecting their journey especially since that is how they have kept it together for 10years at the time.

So without further ado, I present to you a song by Halestorm titled “Here’s To Us”. I hope you enjoy this song I bring to you today. As always, thank you for tuning in and being a part of my musical journey!

On that note, I dedicate this song to each and everyone of you here as we celebrate that we have made it halfway through this week, a long way through life, and situations that tried to mess us up. But we survived and still pushing.

He estado muy enferma esta semana, pero me las he arreglado para salir de la cama y participar en el programa de esta semana "La voz cantante". Me da mucha alegría formar parte de esto cada semana ya que el género musical del Rock es un género que me daba miedo explorar hasta ahora.

Solía pensar que la textura de mi voz no se adaptaría a él o que no llevaría la energía, pero todos vosotros me habéis demostrado que estaba totalmente equivocada y os tengo que dar las gracias por ello. Estaba encerrada en mi caparazón y pensaba que no podría hacerlo. He dado un salto de fe y mi primera entrada en Puku ha sido recibida con mucho cariño.

Para la selección de la canción de rock de esta semana 11 para "La voz cantante", cantaré una de las hermosas canciones de rock de Glee titulada "Here's To Us" por la increíble "Lzzy Hale de Halestorm". ¡Es esa canción queue!

Hale explicó que era un himno personal que decía que su banda había pasado por muchas cosas juntas y que tenían que aprender a celebrar tanto los buenos como los malos momentos. Afirmó que se trataba de aguantar y respetar su trayectoria, especialmente porque así es como se han mantenido juntos durante 10 años.
